4chan had plenty of history discussion across a number of boards for a long time. /k/ and /tg/ in particular were great places to discuss history. It just so happens that the discussion was uncivilized, blunt, and filled with profanity- just like discussion on 4chan should be.
/his/ is too clean and civil. It's like I'm browsing reddit or something.
True, but /k/ isn't about history, and mostly focuses on the military aspect. /tg/ discussions regarding history are only in regards to the Horus Heresy onward.

I completely agree.
All other instances of Protestantism were founded almost baselessly, purely due to the desire of people to be different or stand out.
It never after had as much importance as when roman culture was finally overthrown in the Germanic states.
