Prequels were better. Jar Jar wasn't a bad character.
Boba Fett was a worse character than Jar Jar Binks.
Boba Fett was cool in TESB. Mysterious bounty hunter with an unknown past. Harsh, gravelly voice. Sound of spurs when he walked. Even Vader seemed to have some modicum of respect for him.
He's the perfect minor character. Sure he doesn't have many scenes but the ones he's in are made more interesting by his presence. The mysterious nature of his character keeps the audience intrigued, and thus benefits the atmosphere of the film.

Boba Fett was cool in TESB. in TESB And let's be honest, ROTJ definitely isn't the best of the OT. The scenes involving Vader, Luke, and the Emperor are fantastic, sure, but some other scenes in the film are pretty meh, to be honest. Fett being at Jabba's Palace never made any sense to me, anyway. He's a bounty hunter, an occupation that necessitates being on the move. Why is he just sitting around Jabba's Palace a year later?

It's the same with a different paint job.
It looks bigger and "clunkier", and less like a plastic stormtrooper.
Eh, I suppose there's an explanation required. Something to do with the Institute, seeing as T-60 ain't found in previous games until now and seeing as it's pre war tech it has to have been a prototype or a failed production model.
Unfortunately, it looks like Bethesda has done some retconning. Now T-60 is the most advanced form of power armor before the War, and was introduced after Anchorage. Personally, I dislike this explanation. I get they have to introduce new stuff but I would've preferred "it's a newer model that was introduced to a few areas shortly before the war, but wasn't nearly as widespread as T-51b."
I think the reason for the T-60 and the T-45 being so similar is because D.C and Boston are relatively close to each other.
That, and they're both Bethesda's designs.
Looks like Bethesda wants to shove in the design, can't they seriously just make the T-60b unique and new, make it like the T-45b with a slight modification is just lazy imo.
It's more than a slight modification. There's plenty of differences, if you look closely. I don't have any problem with the fact that they have a similar look in the general sense.

It is the T-60 armor. Here's a couple figures from Threezero that are releasing soon that do a good job of showcasing the differences.
