Make up your own damn mind. There's no good or bad, just your perception of it.
At no point did I say the movie was objectively bad. I stated that I personally disliked it.

I absolutely hated it.
Not the presentation, which was the reason I went to go see the film, and did indeed enjoy. I was very excited to experience the old cinema presentation and atmosphere, what with the old 70mm film reel, the presence of an overture to start the film, and later an intermission, and so forth. That I enjoyed immensely.
The film itself I absolutely hated. I knew it was a Tarantino movie, and all the things that brings to the table, but it ended up being far worse than I had expected. The tone of the movie screwed with my head and resulted in myself feeling emotionally and mentally drained. Maybe that was the point, but regardless I didn't like it. I was confused as to how Tarantino wanted me to feel about certain characters during certain scenes. For example, the scene involving Samuel L. Jackson's "revelation" to the old man. I couldn't tell if I was supposed to feel as though Jackson's character was a badass for doing this horrible thing because "white people bad" or something. If so, I didn't; the scene was rather upsetting to me.
Basically, while the 70mm "old cinema" presentation was very neat, I absolutely hated the film itself and would not recommend it to people who are not big Tarantino fans.

The worst thing about a Star Wars film every year is knowing I'll die before I get to see them all
uhhhh?
I think he means there's going to be so many that they'll out live him. It's a real concern. By 2077 that will be 100 years of Star Wars, and I will be 85.
Yeah Disney is never going to hit the brakes. Personally I really, really hope that we don't get a SW film every eight months like we did with Marvel. I can quite easily see myself suffering from Star Wars burnout.
A movie a year is enough, with other supplemental material in between. Everyone is so hungry now after TFA. I finished Rebels season 2 just because it's Star Wars, and today I read through some of the Marvel comics. I'm thinking about getting one of the new canon novels, maybe Lords of the Sith. TFA achieved what it set out to do; make SW fans excited again about SW.
On the subject of comics, definitely get the Lando miniseries, it's the best of the comic series they've released. As for ongoing series I'd just stick to Star Wars and Darth Vader. In regards to novels, Lords of The Sith is pretty meh. I would recommend reading Tarkin instead, which I found to be much more enjoyable. I have also heard that Lost Stars is a very good Star Wars novel, despite being advertised as a young adult book.

I rewatched A New Hope today and I was wondering what happens to Wedge. I know he's in Empire Strikes Back in the Hoth Battle and Return of the Jedi during the space battle, but what does he do after that?
I think he's in part of the Aftermath novel. Shame his actor turned down a role in TFA. I could see him being a mentor to Poe and the other Resistance fighters.
Yeah, he's in Aftermath. Too bad the book is horribly written, it introduces some interesting concepts.

Update:
In addition to what I previously listed I received more plaid button up shirts, $100, and a $100 Sideshow Collectibles gift card.
With the $100 and gift card I think I'm going to purchase the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Boba Fett that's coming out in May.

Johnson also directed some of Breaking Bad's best episodes, such as Ozymandias.

Well, I have yet to visit two more houses where I have gifts awaiting me, but the haul so far is:
More button up plaid shirts (can't have enough of these, they're all I wear)
Money, with which I ordered the Hot Toys 1/6 scale Kylo Ren to go with my 1/6 scale Vader
Microfiber cloths and screen cleaners
A Darth Vader mug and bank
Floss
And lots of candy

"Rocket wanted to be hardcore but his dad didn't let him."
oh well
Did your father seriously deserve to die for the restraints he placed upon you, Rocket? WHY DID YOU KILL YOUR FATHER?

Mad cause you couldn't come up with one?
I'm actually not upset that I can't make a shitty star wars pun, more relieved than anything.
It sounds like you're upset

Oh, and Captain Phasma is totally a cyborg
2844
« on: December 23, 2015, 11:54:34 PM »
Seeing as Phasma's alive, I wish they had included a scene where we see an empty hallway with a grate, and something on the other side is pounding against it. The grate is then kicked across the hallway, and out comes Phasma, her shiny armor covered in filth, her cape sopping wet. She angrily unclasps her cape and swiftly walks away. Shortly thereafter she gets a transport and helps a few of her men escape.
I feel that given the fact that she survives, they could have included such a scene to explain her presence in future films. With Hux and Kylo Ren, we didn't necessarily have to see them escape because the audience makes the reasonable assumption that they escape; with Phasma this isn't as evident.

Isn't Veggie Tales a Christian cartoon?
Yeah. Generally the show consisted of Bible stories with the participants being in the form of characters that were fruits and vegetables.

Daily reminder that the empire were literally space nazis who persecuted non humans, and oppressed it's citizens in ways that included massacring entire planets.
So daily reminder the Galactic Empire is fucking badass, then?

Physical attractiveness should serve as the initial spark/"pull" towards the other person for each party. What keeps you in the relationship and makes you want to be with that person should be who they are as a person.
looooooooooooool
"I'm with a shitty person who makes me miserable but at least they're hot" Personality is important. Just as much, if not more so, than looks. I'm not saying looks don't matter, but personality is much more important in the long term.

I know that as I've seen the movie, but that's obviously not the joke here.
It's quite clearly the joke here.
