I really dig the music. Not so much the 'A Star Wars Story' subtitle.
It looks really good so far, though. Seems like more practical effects, real sets, and good usage of CGI. Getting a Jason Bourne-in-space feel from it.
Didn't see any Bothans though. It would've been kind of neat to see one as a main character.
Yeah I wish they had kept "A Star Wars Anthology Film" as the subtitle.
The practical effects are the best part. I absolutely love the classic trooper armor made with modern construction and design techniques. They look more like suits of armor now, less like floppy plastic.
The Bothans were involved in the Death Star II mission, not the first.
How many Bothans died to get you this information?
Little to none.

Looks decent. Hoping that CGI gets tightened up a bit in the finalised product though, looks pretty amateurish tbh.
Digging the ninja rebel though.
I'm really excited to see the classic Stormtroopers on screen again, as well as some new designs that harken back to the OT. Not trying to be that guy, but after Ep VII, did they really decide on another female lead, or shoehorn her in? And yes, I know it doesn't really matter if the movie ends up being good, I'm just wondering.
Yeah I was getting some JLaw in the Hunger Games vibes from her, which worries me. "Wow, she's TOO much of a rebel for the REBELLION!!!!" She struck me as Generica Whipsmart

It's going to be another fucking Death Star
I'm waiting for Disney to just butcher every bit of the EU and release a movie every year.
Not another Death Star, the first one. It's supposed to be how Leia came into possession of the original Death Star plans
But Charlie, why would I actually look into what the movie is about when I could just be extremely negative and bitch about it?

Oh boy Call of Star Wars!
I don't mind them shifting focus from the Jedi/Force for once to take a closer look at the ground troops of the Rebel Alliance. As long as it doesn't try too hard to feel like a war movie I think it might turn out fine.

I mean, it's about the mission to get the plans of the first Death Star, soooo Death Star stuff is expected and entirely acceptable in this case. And in regards to the EU, around 60% of it was complete and utter shit, and the remaining 40% that didn't suck is being re-canonized in some fashion. Most of the good stuff, none of the trash. Let me remind you that the EU said Palpatine had not one, but two three eyed mutant children, by the names of Triclops and Trioculous.

When life gives you lemons. . .
Throw them to the floor and twat life in the face for giving you shitty fruit.
I would make combustible lemons, myself.

Just as excited for this as episode VIII. Can't wait to return to the OT era. Cool Stormtrooper too.

Edit: here's the actual trailer: Just as excited for this as episode VIII. Can't wait to return to the OT era. Cool Stormtrooper too. Really dumb they didn't just release the teaser, rather than releasing a teaser for the teaser. Trying to hype people up I guess, but I feel that just releasing the trailer in the first place would do that just fine.

Mein Homeboy Bismarck has you covered
"A single spark will set off an explosion that will consume us all … I cannot tell you when that explosion will occur, but I can tell you where … Some damned foolish thing in the Balkans will set it off."
"It is not by speeches and majority vote that the great questions of our time will be decided — as that was error of 1848 and 1849 — but rather by iron and blood."
"A statesman cannot create anything himself. He must wait and listen until he hears the steps of God sounding through events; then leap up and grasp the hem of his garment."

I am stunned by the idiocy. First off, I have a question for Sep7agon's resident citizens of the UK: is there currently a shortage of shampoo and conditioner in the UK? Because there must be some reason why this woman is using cat urine as a substitute. On the subject of the "review" itself, I am shocked by the ineptitude and lack of common sense. They broke the fucking belt, for one thing. I love how they managed to make a $300 figure look like complete shit by screwing up everything possible. Also: "These look like some Samurai hand protectors" Those are called gloves, dumbass.

They replied. They said that they were interested, but I'm worried they're not familiar with Sideshow Collectibles, specifically how expensive they are. My Vader was $250, and I'm not taking anything under $185, especially seeing as it's no longer in production.

You're all just niggers Just niggers
He was a good dude
He's a cool guy, but on sep7 he seems a bit too tightly wound a lot of the time. He did a lot of stuff I don't agree with, too.
Used to be a fucking G on b.net.
What did Elegiac do to Kitsune?
Basically doxxed her IIRC. He mistook her friendly demeanor for flirting and made a thread about it, posting PM's with her personal information in them to try and somehow prove she was attracted to him beyond their mutual interest in Foxes.
Wow... I feel terrible for laughing given what he did to Kitsune but that's so pathetic and creepy on his part.

That exclusively buys and sells Star Wars collectiblesI think I might visit some time and sell my old 3.75" AT-TE and Clone Troopers, as well as my 6" Black Series figures, which have been gathering dust since I transitioned to collecting high-end 1/6 scale figures like my Kylo Ren. I am curious to see if they'll take my 1/6 scale Sideshow Collectibles Deluxe Darth Vader, which I've been looking to sell so I can get the Hot Toys ANH Vader instead. Regardless, it's still pretty cool that this place is located in my area.

GOTG provided a superficial type of entertainment
We expected to laugh and got to see people kicking ass And excelled at this which is why it's so good
But Star Wars is hailed for the characters, lore, and storytelling Which makes it better cinema than GOTG
This. Star Wars has amazing world building, and makes you feel invested in another world. That is one of the main reasons it's so loved, and why it outclasses GoTG by a long shot, in my opinion. I enjoyed GoTG, but Star Wars is loved by so many for a reason.

Spoiler Who else LOVED seeing SS and FB get MAULED?
Yeah that was pretty cool. I kinda wish the Eighth Brother (the new Inquisitor) had lived, even though his death was funny. I liked his design and he didn't seem like as much of a pushover as the SS and FB.

The inquistors using their lightsabers as little helicopters was stupid as fuck.
Spoiler Kanan Turning into Matt Murdock was pretty cool though. The spins of the Inquisi-copters weren't very sick. I wish the episode had actually added something to the lore, or at least explained what was shown. Maul was cool though, and the Ashoka vs. Vader fight was great, ambiguous conclusion aside. I can't stand the stupid "Sith eyes" though. They work for the Emperor, because he's really creepy, old, and weird, but for everyone else (aside from Maul, because he's an alien) they look fucking retarded. "Congratulations on turning to the Dark Side of the Force, here are your complementary evil contacts!"
