On my dresser I have 5 cobi tanks on it. Once I have room I'm hopping to get every German one.
Cool! I tried to get into modelling, but found I didn't have a lot of time to paint and weather them (get them looking halfway decent). One day I plan to try and get back into the hobby.

I do think 1 figure on each self looks very nice I wouldn't get carried away trying to cram ten full of figures
It would be around three figures per shelf. A shelf would have a primary piece, flanked by "accessory/secondary/companion" pieces. For example, Darth Vader, and a couple Stormtroopers in the back, or Kylo Ren, and a couple First Order troopers, or Boba Fett, and IG-88 and Bossk. However, I am definitely considering simply purchasing another display case. Detolf are only $70 a piece.

Behold.  It's a work in progress, I'm working on figuring out how to hide the wires. It's an Ikea Detolf, with Dioder multi-colored LEDs. For now I have one figure on each shelf, but when my collection becomes larger I will have groups of figures on each shelf. The LED's are a lot brighter in person. Spoiler  I think that when my collection increases in size this will be the Imperial shelf; I will have Vader flanked by Imperial Stormtroopers, with the Interrogator droid at the rear of the shelf. Spoiler  This will be the bounty hunter shelf. I have IG-88 and 4-LOM pre-ordered, just waiting for Bossk, Dengar, and Zuckuss to be announced. Spoiler  In the next few weeks my First Order Stormtrooper Officer will arrive. I'll use him as a companion piece for Kylo Ren. Spoiler  For now, I have the Spacetrooper and the Interrogator droid set up on the bottom. However, when my collection increases in size I think I'll move them up to the top shelf where Vader is, and I think I'll put 3A's upcoming 1/6 scale Doomguy and ThreeZero's Fallout T-60 power armor here. I might just get another one of these display cases though, and devote the entire case to Star Wars figures.

At my college I walked past an African (legit from africa) ranting and waving his hands talking to another student. When i passed close enough to hear what he was saying I only caught "I am sick of these american 'hood niggers' ruining the repuation of good africans" in the most stereotypical african accent you could ever imagine
i thought that was so damn funny
Yeah, from what I understand many Africans absolutely despise the stereotypical hood culture.
They also just recently discovered the wheel.
I'm basing this off of interactions with people who have emigrated from Africa, and what an acquaintance of mine told me after working in a very nice New York hotel for a few years.
