I am so sick of superhero movies.
And then Disney is going to push out so many Star Wars movies that I am going to actually be sick of my favorite franchise.
Fuckin' yay.
Bi-Annual Reminder you are not obligated to go see any of these movies.
I know, I know. It's just... There comes a point where there is an oversaturation of content, you know? I want Star Wars movies to be an event, something I get excited about, not routine.

might want to narrow down "early" to a specific time period/events. without specifics i can only recommend a few generalized works.
"america: a narrative history volume 1" by george brown tindall and david emory shi covers american history from the pre colombian era up through reconstruction. its a solid entry level book.
there is also "what hath god wrought: the transformation of america, 1815-1848" by daniel walker howe. this book describes the evolution of commerce in america during the jacksonian era.
my third recommendation would be alexis de tocqueville's work "democracy in america." this is a frenchman's perspective on early american history and democracy.
I own a copy of the 7th edition Tindall/Shi textbook. It was a gift from my high-school APUSH and AP Psychology teacher, whom I consider to be among my greatest friends. It's a great textbook. It tends to be a bit emotionally charged at times for my tastes but aside from that I think it's a great book.

-Peebee: Asari squadmate shown in previous footage. Went off on her own after arriving on the Nexus and described as having a "bubbly personality". She's smart and not concerned with social norms and "niceties". She's smart and not concerned with social norms and "niceties" She's not concerned with social norms Gee, BioWare, totally came out of left field with that one.

Oh, and Birthday Massacre songs.
I like the beat and I am a sucker for Metal/Electronic combos, but the lyrics are what I expect a moody teenage girls into the Goth subculture would relate to.

You know, I kind of like that she isn't very attractive.
What counts is what is on the inside, not the outside. Janeway (although very reckless and kind of terrible by wimp Starfleet standards), was still an incredibly dedicated and relentless leader who wouldn't stand by and let her crew die in the Unknown as Starfleet would have had her do (because muh noninterference).

I prefer the deeper shades of red, like halfway between brown and red. Not so big on the more orange-ish shades.

Not knowing exactly what they they were, and expecting them to be just regular spring rolls, I ordered "Vietnamese Spring Rolls" from my local takeout place... They look like noodles, shrimp, and pork bundled up inside condoms. Given that I don't like shrimp I won't be eating them. I suppose this is a lesson; know what something is before you order it.

I watched the Christmas episode. The blocking thing was pretty dumb.
I would have preferred an entire episode about the dating advice thing, that was much more interesting.

Was listening to some of his songs on Spotify and damn, I had forgotten how good he was.
I find that I am partial to his more melancholy tunes, such as 'Hurt' and 'God's Gonna Cut You Down'.

New Yorker/Jersey accents are the best.
I'm not someone who's sexually attracted to any accents, though. I just like the ones that sound cool.
I don't necessarily find accents sexually attractive, but for me they would enhance the attractiveness of someone I thought was pretty.

Scottish, Irish, Welsh, German, Cajun, French to a degree, general southern American accent.
Anything but Cockney, really.
Irish is a bit too sing-songey for me personally. Yeah I doubt anyone finds chavspeak charming.

For me:
- Scottish - German - Australian - South African - New Zealand
I suppose I find West Texas/Panhandle accents somewhat charming as well, but less so than those I previously mentioned.
