meh episode, 6/10

too much fanservice and gags

I liked the character development ashi got tho, ladybug part was amazing

It was a "breather" episode. We got a break from the more intense stuff, with some humor and character development. I was fine with it.

Turkey, you've always struck me as highly intelligent, and an extremely nice guy. I find your perspective on things to be interesting, and respect your non-combative, friendly attitude towards others. I wish that you and I were more well-acquainted than we are.

Also your choice in avatars has always been on-point.

Meta, I hadn't been following your threads on your life, and when I read about the state things were in, I was surprised, and saddened by, your predicament. Similarly, I was very happy to hear that things have started getting better. Your posts have always been very intelligent and well-worded, and I think Sep7agon's discussions would suffer greatly in your absence.

Flee, you help keep this site going, and I have always been struck by your intelligence and reasoned approach to issues. You have emy respect and thanks for being a mod here.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. You too help this site going, just like any of the other regulars on here. You contribute a lot of good threads and your art, both drawings and figurines, is nice to look at.
Thanks!

You seem to have dealt with a great deal of stress and challenges in your life, and I hope that things go well for you from this point on. I've greatly enjoyed talking with you on Discord.
I feel like my adversities have been a drop in the bucket compared to what is coming in the future, and it seems unfair to gripe about them when other people, people I know, have been through so much more.

I hope you get what you want out of life.
Your talent is growing everyday, I see that. And I can only assume all things you do grow with such intricate bliss. But what already have, whether you know it or not, is vision. The most important thing anybody can have is a vision.

But my vision is shifting, and I play it off like it was absolute. A beautiful lie, to make things seem like I never made compromise, and to make it seem like everything was just, well...

Part of some smooth plan.
Thank you, that means a lot.

Oh...

Well this sucks
I want to apologize for this post. It struck me that my post comes across as extremely apathetic and that's not what I intended, I just didn't know what to say. I still don't know what to say.

I won't lie, I didn't know him well at all. I didn't have any experiences or interactions with him like some people here are recounting, and I am sorry I never did. He sounds like a loyal and kind soul, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Light skins are the only acceptable time to find a black girl attractive
Among black women I tend to find the lighter skin tones more attractive.

i was called a racist because i said i preferred asian girls more than black girls.

By whom?
some liberal fuckwad saying its transphobic to not like trans people even though someone was saying they dont prefer trans people as much as cis people. then i said what if i found a race more attractive than others then he called me a racist shithead.

He sounds like an idiot.
i mean he was a liberal, so yea. i hate living in the most liberal campus and county in AZ since i have to talk to these retards, but hey, my uni president says safe zones are stupid so theres hope

Yeah, I'm in community college right now, but I'll be transferring to the University North Texas in a year or so. As I understand it UNT has somewhat of a reputation for being very leftist.

Unfinished doodle of a Black Templar I made on the back of a note card about a month ago.
Drawing again reminded me of my weaknesses. I apply too much force on my pencil, making erasing much more difficult to erase, due to the graphite smearing. Furthermore, I am definitely a perfectionist, and will start with something like a helmet and spend an enormous amount of time getting it looking as perfect as possible, before doing anything else.

That, and I only ever draw things wearing helmets. I don't think I've ever drawn anything without a helmet.

Looks good man. I don't draw much because I'm a bit of a perfectionist too. Most of my doodles start with random shapes and then I try to make something of them. Helps if I view it as a game instead of a serious drawing.
Thanks!

Scribbles and random shapes are great for warming up. I like to do graff handstyles for warming up, personally.

Practicing drawing lightly and fluidly can also improve your skill by a great deal. Most novice artists  apply too much pressure (as Napalm stated) and tend to draw with their wrists. Lightening the pressure and using the motion of your entire arm makes it much easier to draw fluidly.
Thanks for the tips!

I was gonna read Brave New World but it's just been sitting there for 4 months.
Fahrenheit 451 is great. One of the few books I actually took the time to buy in hardcover.

Oh boy I sure did like watching reddit and memey instead of Samurai Kino

You're whining about missing a week.

I'm a fan of The Venture Bros and I have to wait like 3 years per season.
Expressing displeasure doesn't necessarily equate to whining.

I had been waiting all week for this. They could have just looped the R&M episode until Samurai Jack came on, or had Samurai Jack play at midnight, when the R&M loop was over.

rick and morty is a super clever show dude
It has its moments, but there are many aspects of the show I find to be obnoxious.

Nathan Fillion and January Jones would make the perfect child.

Nathan Filion's genes are powerful enough to overcome the ugliest of genetics.

anyway i've seen gorgeous men and women from just about every race

depends on the individual

I am in agreement, I was just asking about people's general preferences, and the general trends that they've noticed in their own aesthetic tastes.

Darker skin tone, darker hair. Pair that with light colored eyes and I'm done. Half black master race.
I concur.
