Spoiler Hot Toys MMS 295 - Sandtrooper (squad leader) 1/6 scale figure I was going to go with the First Order Stormtrooper Officer that I had pre-ordered a while back, but I cancelled in favor of this guy. He got great reviews, has more accessories, and is generally a more detailed figure. He's been on sale for a few months now, and I have a feeling he'll sell out within a few months, whereas the First Order Officer is still up for pre-order. Plus, because he's an original trilogy character, he will probably increase in value a lot faster than the First Order trooper once he sells out. I still might purchase the FO trooper as a companion piece for my Kylo Ren, but I will wait for others to get their hands on it and review it before I purchase it. He found a droid, but not the one he was looking for...

... to the Star Wars canon.MSW has proven itself to be a reliable source in the past, and the changes to Ezra's appearance and weapon have already been shown to be true based on a recently released clip. Furthermore, regarding this year's Star Wars Celebration Europe (starting this Friday) Dave Filoni recently said: "Something big is going to happen that I think people really, really want, and I know that I've wanted it for a while. We've figured out a way to do it. It's a very important moment in Star Wars and a very important moment for Star Wars fans....You will definitely learn more about that at Celebration coming up, because I'm going to talk about it specifically." Finally, he recently tweeted a picture of what appears to be the spine of a copy of Heir To The Empire. We'll know for sure on the 16th, which is when the Rebels panel at Celebration is happening.

Vader confirmed.Photos and character information.Honestly I'm more excited for this than Episode VIII. I love Imperial political intrigue, and I like the idea of a grittier, more war-movie esque Star Wars film.

"And in his conquest against the blackened souls of the multiculturalists, his prowess was shown. In his crusade, the Queen bestowed upon him terrible power and speed, and with his might he crushed the obsidian pillars of globalism. He set forth without pity upon the beasts of the twenty-seven states. Unbreakable, incorruptible, unyielding, the EU Slayer sought to end the dominion of Brussels." Spoiler Thanks to BaconShelf for the image.

Behold. It's a work in progress, I'm working on figuring out how to hide the wires. It's an Ikea Detolf, with Dioder multi-colored LEDs. For now I have one figure on each shelf, but when my collection becomes larger I will have groups of figures on each shelf. The LED's are a lot brighter in person. Spoiler I think that when my collection increases in size this will be the Imperial shelf; I will have Vader flanked by Imperial Stormtroopers, with the Interrogator droid at the rear of the shelf. Spoiler This will be the bounty hunter shelf. I have IG-88 and 4-LOM pre-ordered, just waiting for Bossk, Dengar, and Zuckuss to be announced. Spoiler In the next few weeks my First Order Stormtrooper Officer will arrive. I'll use him as a companion piece for Kylo Ren. Spoiler For now, I have the Spacetrooper and the Interrogator droid set up on the bottom. However, when my collection increases in size I think I'll move them up to the top shelf where Vader is, and I think I'll put 3A's upcoming 1/6 scale Doomguy and ThreeZero's Fallout T-60 power armor here. I might just get another one of these display cases though, and devote the entire case to Star Wars figures.

The Dark Lord has arrived... Some will remember that I already had a 1/6 scale Vader, the Sideshow Collectibles RoTJ Vader figure, and might ask "why get another one?". I purchased the Hot Toys Vader after seeing just how incredible the Hot Toys ANH Vader was in comparison to the SSC Vader. There are several differences between Vader's ANH and ESB/RoTJ costumes, most notably the placement of the robes over the upper chest armor in ANH, the widow's peak dome, and so forth. In general, the ANH Vader has a much more "rough" appearance. Ultimately, I like how Vader looks in ESB more, but Hot Toys' ANH Vader looked so much better than Sideshow's ESB/RoTJ Vader that I had to get the Hot Toys Vader. Here's the SSC Vader (my old Vader). Here's the Hot Toys Vader (my new Vader). These aren't my photos, my camera isn't that good. Here he is with the Hot Toys Luke and Leia. Just about every little detail of the A New Hope costume - the asymmetrical mask and dome, the unpainted right "tusk", the horizontal brush strokes on the left "cheek", and the speckling of the pain on the right - has been replicated in 1/6 scale. He also comes with: A light-up Lightsaber and belt boxes Finally, here are some photos I took: It isn't a perfect figure; I don't like how they designed the gloves and hands. they tried to preserve hand articulation by having hands separate from the slip-on "gloves" on the forearm, with velcro on the back of the hands and the inside of the "gloves" to try and imitate the appearance of actual gloves. It doesn't work well. Furthermore, the figure's robes flare out a bit too much, and the cape, while having a wonderful natural drape, is a bit too long. These are minor complaints, however, and I am immensely satisfied with my new Darth Vader. The previous figure I had was but a pale imitation of Lord Vader, an inferior dopplegänger. The Hot Toys figure, however, is truly Darth Vader, Dark Lord of The Sith, Supreme Commander of The Imperial Fleet, and right hand of the Emperor, in 1/6 scale.

As it stands, I don't think it would end well if I got married. I am a rather controlling person, don't like to go out much (aside from movies), and thus I don't think I would be a very good father or husband. Then again, I guess my fears are primarily because of my disposition, me being an introverted and not outdoors-y individual, and because of my parent's recent divorce.
I guess it's too early to tell.

Deciding which to display my figures in. Fabriktor: Detolf: I'm leaning towards the Fabriktor. The cabinet would be placed on carpet, and I think that a cabinet with legs would be more stable than one without them in this environment. Furthermore, the metal frame of the Fabriktor would let me place multi-colored LEDs on the corners; I would switch the color to red and have my figures bathed in an awesome red glow (because Dark Side). Similar to what this guy did.

Starring Alexander Skarsgard.
It was alright I guess. The first 4/5ths of the movie were really good, but then it just turned to schlock and I laughed out loud.

Very emotional. I'm part of the first graduating class of my high school.
Salutatorian's speech was a bit groan inducing, as it was too informal and kinda cringe worthy (she's a very smart girl, she's going to Duke and majoring in economics, but she's also a bit airheaded).
It was also rather funny, as basically half my graduating class is Indian. I don't think my family was quite expecting that. Excluding the salutatorian (Asian) and another girl (from Columbia, white Hispanic) the entire top ten is Indian.
Very sad to leave high school though, especially seeing as my favorite teacher is moving back to Chicago the end of this month. She gave me her phone number and personal email though, so we'll maintain correspondence.
Many tears were shed.
Oh, and tomorrow is my 19th birthday.

Boba Fett was originally going to be the main antagonist of VI, and the rest of RoTJ was going to be split up into three movies. This explains a lot: Fett being implied to be awesome and then his disappointing defeat at the Pit of Carkoon. Vader instantly going from "ultimate badass planning to overthrow the Emperor" Vader to "subservient, morose, plagued with self-doubt" Vader. The Death Star II. Sounds interesting. I don't think it would have been necessary to create an entirely new trilogy; I feel that as a film RoTJ could be improved while still limiting the story to one movie. Personally, here's what I would change: Get rid of the Death Star II. Instead have the final space battle be centered around the construction of say, another Super Star Destroyer like the Executor. Empire is building something important but not as large scale as another DS, Rebels send Fleet, and a large number of Imperial ships jump out of hyperspace and ambush them. Emperor is aboard Super Star Destroyer beig constructed. Throughout the movie Vader and the Emperor sort of compete over Luke, trying to influence him. Try and fit Vader's redemption into that framework somehow. Go with the original plan and have wookiees instead of ewoks.

The African American demographic is clearly vehemently anti-Trump. However, I cannot seem to recall Trump having said anything about the demographic, aside from referring to them using terminology that could be considered outdated (I believe he referred to them as "the blacks"). I know that if I search the internet I'll just get a bunch of articles from sites like Salon, so I decided to make my inquiry here instead. My question is as follows: what has Donald Trump said about the African American community? Is it simply fear mongering by the left?
Please provide factual, unbiased answers.

About a month ago, my Hot Toys 1/6 scale First Order Snowtrooper Officer arrived in the mail. I was overjoyed; my Kylo Ren would finally have another First Order character to go with him. Unfortunately, there was a problem. Spoiler The chest plate had a paint defect. I was appalled, and sent a report to Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys' U.S. distributor, detailing the issue and requesting a replacement chest plate. The obliged, sending me a replacement part, but with one condition: that I destroy the original, damaged component. And so. I waited. Eventually, it arrived, for me to find that they had not simply sent me a replacement chest plate; they had sent me an entirely new body, rather than simply another chest plate. Still, this worked. Thus, I set to work on destroying the original parts. I put on some matte black lipstick, donned my Stahlhelm, placed some headphones in my ears, played Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood", picked up a hammer, and set to work. My harsh tones echoed throughout my residence as I sang along, each line ending with I deafening bang as a swung the hammer. This is the result: I then took the above photo and sent it to Sideshow, who then replied, stating that my work was satisfactory. Spoiler All fixed up!

Edit: here's the actual trailer: Just as excited for this as episode VIII. Can't wait to return to the OT era. Cool Stormtrooper too. Really dumb they didn't just release the teaser, rather than releasing a teaser for the teaser. Trying to hype people up I guess, but I feel that just releasing the trailer in the first place would do that just fine.

I am stunned by the idiocy. First off, I have a question for Sep7agon's resident citizens of the UK: is there currently a shortage of shampoo and conditioner in the UK? Because there must be some reason why this woman is using cat urine as a substitute. On the subject of the "review" itself, I am shocked by the ineptitude and lack of common sense. They broke the fucking belt, for one thing. I love how they managed to make a $300 figure look like complete shit by screwing up everything possible. Also: "These look like some Samurai hand protectors" Those are called gloves, dumbass.

That exclusively buys and sells Star Wars collectiblesI think I might visit some time and sell my old 3.75" AT-TE and Clone Troopers, as well as my 6" Black Series figures, which have been gathering dust since I transitioned to collecting high-end 1/6 scale figures like my Kylo Ren. I am curious to see if they'll take my 1/6 scale Sideshow Collectibles Deluxe Darth Vader, which I've been looking to sell so I can get the Hot Toys ANH Vader instead. Regardless, it's still pretty cool that this place is located in my area.

Couple days ago, someone I consider myself somewhat close to told me she was pregnant. Since then it's felt really weird interacting with her. Does anyone else feel somewhat uncomfortable or awkward when friends/acquaintances become pregnant?

I just finished season 1 of Ash vs Evil Dead, and I loved it. However, I haven't seen any of the films. I was wondering, should I start with Evil Dead 1 or 2? I looked at the summaries and they seem pretty similar, and I'm just looking to watch then for the comedy, and it sounds like Evil Dead 2 is funnier
