theyre not for everyone. their style changes from album to album since theyre a prog rock band, and all of their albums are part of an overarching "concept"- basically this low fantasy scifi war saga, a story that the lead singer concocted. there are some graphic novels/comics too
heres probably their best song from their best album, about one of the central characters of the series- claudio, who is basically space jesus. if you dont like this one, they might not be for you
that i can get behind. ill sit through the albums. i just finished Tame Impala which admittedly took me a while to warm up to. might as well.

its aight. season 3 is the best. season 4 couldnt stand up to ATLA's finale. ATLA is better over all.

Miura is a hack that has trouble adapting anything with a little bit of depth. See the botchjob that was KnK 6 or the character development on UBW. Don't expect the HF movie to be any better in that department under him.
That being said it's probably the best adaptation we'll get out of F/SN. You need all three parts to get a complete story and it was written in a time where people were taking advantage of their medium instead of trying to write in an anime adaptation friendly manner in hopes that some producer somewhere will pick it up.

I was agreeing with you and talking about how Miura is a shitty director. It's a good adaptation if you've read the source material since you'll notice some of the subtler stuff and be able to fill in the blanks that Miura left out. If you're a secondary though your mileage will vary. Reactions have been pretty mixed to it from that crowd raging from best thing ever to "it's shit". I don't want a Hollow Ataraxia adaptation if Miura is directing it because it's even more character focused than F/SN and he's proven he can't direct character based stories.
Ufotable as a whole though has been getting really sloppy lately though. You can see it in the later half of UBW and definitely in God Eater. It's like they've reached the point where they know they can make a profit based on name recognition alone so they don't really care anymore.
i did notice some of the fights werent as crisp as the starting Saber/Archer/Berserker fight. that fight was awesome. not sure that i see it in God Eater yet.
