Hey I thought The Fall of Reach was a pretty accurate prequel for Halo 1, and this was written way before Halo: Reach was even out.
eh. i just think that the original media holds the canon, i think a lot of the books are cool and they enhance the game lore. but i dont think any of the game plot should defer to the book plot lines.

our highschool had a grub infestation, our roof leaked, one of the hallways would flood.
drug dogs brought in to sniff the school. some dumb bitch ran down the halls when we were supposed to be in lock down screaming "they'll never find my stash!". bitch was caught and taken away for drug charges.

To be fair, this is just a pilot. You can't really judge a series as a whole based on 1 episode. Clone Wars would have been a very bad show rated show if everyone did that after that sorry excuse for a movie.

I listen to albums as a whole, but I like each song to be its own story; there can be an overarching feeling or narrative, that may evolve, or not, but the majority of songs should be able to stand up on their own. I don't like to feel as though I have to commit to an hours worth of music in order to be able to appreciate any one piece fully, though as I said, I listen to albums in a sitting once I know that each song stands up in its own right.
