Yeah, they stagnate their franchises by cash cowing them into oblivion, but like I said to Lemon, their first entries are good games 9 times out of 10, with the occasional fantastic sequel.
yeah and "general consensus" also liked CoD.
ME2 was terrible story wise and way less of an RPG then ME1.

Halo 3 had a shitty plot but is one of the best in the series, and my personal favourite. Oblivion had a shitty plot but is considered second to Morrowind. The narrative doesn't make a game mang.
If Battlefront does indeed turn out to be shitty, then I'll hold my hands up and admit EA is the worst publisher in gaming. Until we actually get our hands on the game all you guys are really doing is just spouting baseless conjecture.

plot does have a place in judging the game, you're being dense if you think otherwise. im not saying ignore gameplay, im saying its a category that should be judged as well.
I'm not derailing anything. You guys come crashing into this thread with your EA picketing and baseless predictions because it's a publisher you find icky. I'm fully aware of EA's unscrupulous business practices, but I like to remain cautiously optimistic on potentially amazing games, especially ones that riveted my childhood.
How about you create your own thread about how shit EA are. I'm sure we've never had that before.
how is it baseless if Dead Space which started out magnificent (from what im told, 2spooky4me) turned into Dead Space 3: Microtransactions from Hell, or BF3: Buy Shortcuts for Gud Guns. or ME3: Flush All Your Money Down the Toilet for Our MP. its not baseless to assume that BF will have microtransactions, you're being willfully ignorant if you believe otherwise. i didnt come in here to shit on EA, like you think i did.
