pff, my ps4 tried to tell me i had parental controls on today and it wouldnt let me play online. it unfucked itself after 10 mins but it scared the shit out of me considering im the only one that plays on the ps4.

Mine's ether having issues with the psu, hdd, or hdmi port. Haven't been able to narrow it down yet. Found other people with similar symptoms online. Keeps shutting itself off like its overheating. Tried wiping the hdd. Didn't work. Past warranty, and really don't want to buy a new one, but for P5 and FFXV I'd have to.
my ps3 power cord (the slim) works with the ps4, if you still have it you could try that first just to be sure.
Never had ps3 otherwise I would have given that a try.

You just unintentionally trolled the shit out of me lol. For some reason the walmart site is interfering with some of the script plugins on firefox. Immediately crashes my computer. Haven't bothered to sort it since I don't go there.

Read the OP. Read the thread. Read literally any of the words here and you'll get an idea of what I'm actually talking about.
I read the op, and already looked into it extensively seeing as how its a) old and 2) a game I plan on getting.
Clearly you're invested in it so you have some interest in proving to yourself that your future investment is a waste of money. If you're dead-set on getting it, that's fine but don't try to make false claims to make it look less bad.
You clearly didn't read the OP because I'm not referring to the rumors from several weeks ago. I'm referring to a two-day-old thread on Reddit (which doesn't necessarily count as old unless that's what you're referring to in which case, holy shit it's not that old).
Guess we'll see in a couple days then when the reviews start coming in.

The "old news" from a few weeks ago is referring to the fact that somebody got the trophy for completing the game in five hours. At that stage, the five hours thing was a rumor because they didn't know if that person was speedrunning the game. Now that this Let's Play video from two days ago has surfaced and it's been noted that they weren't trying to speedrun the game, it's pretty clear now that the average playthrough is five hours long and that at least half of it is cutscenes.
My OP was referring to the LP from two days ago, not the several week old trophy kerfuffle (which Comet linked to earlier and you certainly would have known this if you had read this thread in any detail because he linked to it two posts in).
Moral of this story is read fucking OP.
EDIT: Also read thread discussion so you don't say the same thing twice.
A Let's Play of the entire game was uploaded and subsequently deleted recently. Apparently in addition to running at 30fps and having downgraded graphics from earlier previews, it's also essentially as long as a pretty long movie (with half of that being composed of actual movies). Also, the entire game has black bars on the edges of the screen for that "cinematic" feel when in reality it was just done to reduce the overall resolution in an attempt to make the game not run like a piece of shit. all of this is even older then the LP, so i have no idea why you keep telling people to read it.
