Ignoring the legality of it. How dumb do you have to be to blatantly tell the company you cover to go fuck themselves like that.

Polygon. Always good for a chuckle.

they wouldnt be as put out by adblock if the content creators made their ads a part of the video "this video was brought to you buy...(blah blah company)". i use adblock, that's not gonna change. i made an exception for Sep7 even though i dont see ads anyway.

the concept sounds like the turtle thing from the Rooster Teeth short.
Thought of that too. Wasn't it a snail though?

I am sorry to offend you, kiddies. To be honest I'm happy that you read at all. But there are different classes of writer, and Martin is of a lower tier. Real talk.

Spoiler
also sorry foxby, you were right, this thread is ok

fox clan continues to triumph

Elegiac, no. bad. stop. you cannot talk about "the hum of the conveyor belt of mass-produced fantasy dreck" then put (presumably) Robert Jordan on a pedestal. the man has 14 goddamn books for the same series.
You maybe might want to read what I said again then. Bad Comet. Reading comprehension :P
i see it now, thank god.
i seriously thought i was gonna pop a blood vessel.

if you can sit through a game of thrones book, you have the attention span of a 10 year old
I've read longer books and better. Although being a better writer than Martin isn't much of an accomplishment. He's in the same class as Eddings, Feist and Jordan. Mass-produced fantasy dreck. You can practically hear the hum of the conveyor belt behind each page. You're basically an overgrown 10 year old if you can sit through what is essentially a trashy goosebumps-caliber fantasy-cum-days-of-our-lives saga. I mean shit, you might as well be reading something like this: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3251066-unicorn-bride ...at least it knows it's trash.

i can respect that you dont like GoT, but this is too much.

ive refreshed my memory of what happened last season. im ready.
you crippled your brain?
YouTube

it is an MLG parody, so there is always that risk.
poor comet the brain cripple

someone needs to have lame of thrones banned before there are any more victims
you have the oddest taste in books, have i told you that before?
I don't enjoy the standard sword and sorcery dreck. I don't accept bad writing or old ideas that have been done to death. Unfortunately Martin qualifies as bad writing although I'm more than willing to admit that his ideas contain some portion of originality.
hmm. i can accept that.
i am curious though, what is "bad writing" in your opinion?
when I get to just skimming over the pages and still don't miss much (89% of the writing in those big thick game of thrones books are just a boring waste of page to me), whereas with good writing I'll slow down and take my time with each page, drinking in the nuances of storytelling and story; my absolute favourite thing is when I'm forced to re-read a paragraph because I wasn't focusing enough and I won't understand what's happening unless I go back and read it again because the story is just that densely constructed

at the other end of the spectrum, I'll read easy, flowing narratives (they don't have to be dense) as long as the author is artful about it and his ideas are interesting enough... Jack Vance or Michael Moorcock would be an example of this, although not all of Vances work is too 'pulpy'
exactly how i felt with the Sword of Truth series.

my highschool wouldnt have had a problem with that outfit... and my highschool didnt let girls show their shoulders, wear tank tops, or shorts/skirts/dresses that ended 5in above the knee.

that being said i dont see any soggy knees or rape culture in holding to school dress code.
