Could mean a couple of things. Doesn't necessarily mean they're abandoning the game. Might just be a rename.
Though at this point I wouldn't be surprised.
Did jew read the article you filthy pleb
Yes, but people here are acting like its canceled, so restating for effect.

'Completed' gets kinda grey area in the pre-achievement/trophy years. There's a lot of SNES/Gameboy/OG Xbox games I played the crap out of, and 'did everything possible'.
Never 100%'d any 360 game for some reason. Achievements never really grabbed me.
Most recently I've got platinum trophies for Gravity Rush, Persona 4 Golden, inFamous SS, Transistor, and The Order 1886.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/keithlee/duelystCool little indie game by some devs from Diablo III and Rogue Legacy. Found it while looking for news on Hyper Light Drifter. Thought I'd share if anyone was interested. Think I just really love pixel art....and tactical/strategy games. Duelyst is a tactical turn-based strategy game with ranked competitive play for PC, Mac, and the web, brought to you by veteran developers and creators from Diablo III, Rogue Legacy, and the Ratchet & Clank series.
The focus is on squad-based combat on a tactical map for intense, fast-paced 1v1 battles with the simple winning objective of defeating your opponent's General. - Platform: Available for Windows/Mac/Linux and desktop browser. - Business Model: Every battle unit and spell is earned by spending time playing the game. As a result, this is NOT pay-to-win! Just like you, we want to buy a good solid game that we can go home to and play regularly with our friends. - Customize Your Battle Squad: Recruit a large roster of 100+ battle units and spells each with different abilities that interact in unique and endless ways during combat. No squad or battle will play out the same. - Skill-Based Tactical Combat: The emphasis is on unit positioning, understanding your squad's abilities, anticipating your opponent's capabilities, and maintaining board control. At it's core, it's a tactical tabletop board game without all the manual math calculations. - Online Multiplayer: Find equally matched players to play head-to-head anytime in Ranked or Draft mode on various competitive tiers. - Short Sessions: Each game session is designed to be played in less than 30 minutes. Now you can play competitive skill-based games without investing hours towards a single session. - NAGF (Not Another Generic Fantasy): The world of Duelyst has an expansive identity and mythology where you will see gorgeous landscapes filled with rich, complex characters, untold stories, and unraveled histories. - At Launch: 6 Factions with a roster of over 100 faction-specific and mercenary battle units and spells.

Was gonna wait and make this thread a bit later, but I guess there really isn't a point. Basically gonna take a indefinite break from sep7 here. Kinda eh on the new rule, but I also have some irl stuff to deal with. Just becoming less and less of an enjoyable thing to juggle right now. Not too big of a deal I guess. Figured I'd make a thread because I didn't want to storm off like a couple of other users have. Feel like I like the majority of people here, and Cheat and Isara have really designed a good site. Wanted to hit Unstoppable! before I stopped cuz I find that funny I'll still be around in the skype chat, and will probably pop up for teh animu streams. Outside of that psn and miiverse are always there for the gaming folks. Its been fun.

Opinion 1: AKA Elegiac threads.
Are you serious? Take a look at some of the shit these kids post.
Anyway, I've come to regard option one and option three as almost the exact same thing in regards to me, and as Sigma said, I don't think I'll be affected by this at all
I'm very serious. And you are one of those "kids". But hey, you're not as bad as Jim or Zesty.
Pah. How old are you, newfish?
I don't live at home with mommy and daddy anymore. Is that suffice cupcake?
*Does that suffice, cupcake?
I really want a cupcake now.

crappy Century Link if only cuz I refuse to support Comcast. around $30/month for 20down 5up.
next upgrade is $77 for 40down 20up.
Been debating what to do with it since I'm currently not too happy.
(those are also 'promotional' prices and only last a year or so until they bump up I believe.)

You dismiss my philosophy as "emo edge cringe"--meaningless Internet buzzwords. Shows your young age. Maybe you'll grow up some day, kid.
Not my fault you can't read into WHY I said that to you. I think I'm quite done approaching this amicably. Fortunately for the mods sake I plan on taking an indefinite break from sep7 here soon.

There's only so much emo edge cringe I can take in a day. Ad hominem.
Not really. I'm criticizing your actions/phrasing/ideas. Not attacking you personally. And for someone who just wished the worst possible suffering on me....well glass houses.

A better question is why you're so afraid of suffering. I'm not afraid of it so much as I recognize its lack of rational function in any decently constructed universe. A reality where suffering exists is a shitty reality, period. I reject it entirely, and I find it disgusting that people will make glib statements like this. If you're going to say something like, "suffering isn't bad," then I hope you get the worst suffering ever. You're not even fucking thirty, and you're gonna tell me that suffering is okay? Just wait. I hope you get the very worst of it, and then come back and tell me that life is still worth it. I'll get a nice laugh out of it.I think the best explanation as to why people haven't taken up the stance is simply a lack of care, or rather understanding of the suffering everyone is collectively going through.
*COUGH* naoto *COUGH*
They're glib cunts. You hit the nail on the head. They act like they understand, but they DON'T understand. The only way they'll understand is if they keep playing the game some more. They can sit through World War III and they'll still glibly say, "Yup, life is still worth it, because these fucking Doritos taste too delicious" or whatever the flying fuck it is you think makes life worth living. It's all ego crap, by the way. Everything you think makes your life worth it is all ego desire. And if it makes you happy, go for it. I'm just saying, Lamborghinis, sex, and winning the World Series--what do all of these things have in common?
They all have no intrinsic value.
Ugh. Maybe its the headache talking, but I think I'm going to give up on you Verb. There's only so much emo edge cringe I can take in a day. Don't presume to know anything about me or my experiences either. When we both know you know nothing. Strawmen only convince the person using them.
