Oh and I still dont think you should play Dark Souls
Well at least if he does actually end up hating it, he won't get people telling him he hasn't even played the game
But he HAS played it.

The main quest of the game is surprisingly shorter than you’d expect
This makes me laugh.

it’s entirely from the baby’s point-of-view, so when you exit your mother’s womb, you get a nice shot of blood splatter all over your screen for a brief moment. Beautiful.

Nice I always found that awkward as hell.

For the most part of the story in this review, I can agree on. To me, not actually playing fully, but seeing most of it, the main story seems really lackluster.

Same with characters *cough*falloutcharacterslol*cough* I reallllly couldn't find a character I could say "Yeah! I like this guy/girl"

My favorite thing about the game’s story is not even the main quest itself. I, like most other people I know, actually preferred the side quests a lot more.
Yeah, like my other comment, This 100%

Mostly from this review, I like how you've talked about the lore, the one thing I find really cool in Fallout. I like how you can learn this by reading books (Skyrim too) and talking to people in these types of games, looking at terminals etc. Its a really cool thing I've always liked in games too, probably why I REALLY like Dark Souls, it does this in item descriptions. I dunno, I just like that sort of stuff.

The lore is so rich, I could probably play the game nonstop for another year and still find new stuff hidden here and there
This is nice to hear tbh

(I also hear the only way to win is V.A.T.S. on consoles, I didn't like the V.A.T.S. system at all.)

But reading this, pretty 10/10 review for a 7/10 game, nice. The monster text wall may have killed my eyeballs, seriously. I am happy you enjoyed it though, since its a nice read. Does make me want to maybe try again, although theres just so many things I dislike about it.

I was planning to quote everything and say stuff but eh, most things I agree on so yeah not much to say.

Reading through this does make me want to try Fallout again, When my head isn't on fire from looking at my emails for like 12 hours, I'll read this all, since, I don't think I've ever seen a review this beefy on such a game.

Can confirm the point on Side quests vs Main quests though
