State of Decay got my attention, since it'll hopefully have the coop I wanted in the first. Halo wars 2, because I want to see what happens and I really like their trailers.
Now, Nier is going to be my most hyped for. I can't wait to play it, the gameplay looks smooth, the OST (from what I've heard) is already great and I want to know more about the open world idea they're going for. Little bit upset that Dues Ex wasn't shown off more, though.
--I agree with you on Detroit: Become Human, it could go so wrong.
There's not much else, not a fan of the VR gimmick, although it is cool. I didn't watch the Treehouse show and I wasn't really keeping my eye on FF stuff. Don't care for whatever that 'Resident Evil' game was pooped out, despite the stunning visuals.

Seems like a whole lot of cinematic, well-written games that'll probably just end up being gritty third-person shooters between cutscenes.
Most aren't.
Spiderman is open world, Horizon is open world, The Last Guardian will be open like SoC, Days Gone is open world. The only one that may be some cinematic third person shooter is Kojima's game really.
Was Days Gone confrimed for open world? It gave me more of a Last of Us cinimatic linear feel.
It showed me how not to shoot in that situation.
