Before any patches, you had to have it on max to get the bestest ending in SP iirc.
I never needed that, I think you remember wrong maybe, its not required to get the 'best' ending

So... I never got to finish the game.
This is one of those games that if it wasn't so damn buggy, it would be amazing. I was stuck on the same part for a while.

But will I be finding a good big sword to use or should I buy and upgrade one of the purchasable ones? I'm still kicking as secondary attack and it's starting to become weak as the game progresses.
There's no real ''better sword'' from what I could tell, if you upgraded one, it would be the same as the other and its just the different move-sets. I could be wrong. Work towards upgrading the weapons you like, basically. But, Beastlord is my go-to and if I'm wrong, I think Beastlord is the strongest two-hander

Hunger games esq game with a fun squad system and, now, a first person mode. You spawn in, grab weapons, kill whoever you see, grab more weapons, survive and slowly move into a random area of the map, or you get left behind the kill-zone and you die, it stops camping, be the last to survive and you win chicken dinner.
Got its fair share of bugs and glitches so be ready for that.
