There's a booty reference to be made here.
If I've learned one thing from you, it's that booty is everywhere. You just have to look.

For starters, there's risk of a meltdown, the process produces hard-to-dispose-of nuclear waste and throws out highly lethal radiation at all times. Fusion, by comparison, is a lot less dangerous dat blatant misinformation propagated by the media tho
That's literally how fission works though. It's not this magical energy source with no drawbacks.
The drawbacks are minimal. Current reactors are very safe and reliable. Risk of a meltdown is basically zero (for perspective, the reactors in Fukushima were shitty and poorly regulated and it took a massive tsunami and earthquake to cause a meltdown). Nuclear waste isn't difficult to dispose of, and while the reactors do emit radiation, shielding is very easy (water alone blocks almost all of it) and there are zero cases of dangerous dosage of radiation in modern power plants. You're right, nuclear power isn't magical. It's also not scary. You take a really heavy metal, you shoot a neutron at it so that it releases some of the metal's binding energy, you allow that energy to heat up some water, use that water to boil some other water, and then you let the steam drive a generator shaft. It's self-sustaining, has an abundant fuel source, and doesn't involve blowing up million-year-old algea.

No, however I don't think prostitutes should be charged with a crime, rather they should be given help. Rehabilitative justice is something that is desperately necessary and lacking in modern society. Currently, prostitution laws evoke a cycle of abuse, stemming from sex workers' inability to leave their profession because of arrest records and psychological trauma.
Legal prostitution removes that barrier, which I wholeheartedly support. But it's also true that legal prostitution does nothing to protect women from abuse. I'm not sure how you can see a study that demonstrates nearly 70% of legal sex workers have PTSD, or more than half are victims of abuse by their customers and still support any form of prostitution. Pimps and johns are the criminals, and the prostitutes (men or women) are the victims, and legal prostitution institutionalizes abuse, rape, and violence against men and women alike.

Tesla is currently two years away from releasing an economy model of the Tesla, and even the ones available now are competitively priced for the long-term benefits they provide. Charging stations are due to become very common, and Tesla claims that they'll have chargers that are capable of charging the battery in two minutes. We used to think that battery life was the roadblock, but if electricity is readily available throughout the country, it no longer becomes such an issue. The cost of electricity is about a tenth of the price for gasoline, joule for joule, and there are increasingly more ways to harness electricity without burning fossil fuels. Electric cars have also proven to be significantly safer than gasoline-powered cars because there's no longer a huge engine directly in front of the driver seat to be slammed backwards during a collision. So it might be an exaggeration, but I really do think that in 30-40 years we'll see gas-powered cars on the same level of novelty as rotary phones and blatant sexism in the workplace (the good ol' days).

I think it all boils down to socio-economic standing, not necessarily race. It's tough for a black guy, brought up in the ghetto, to get out and make himself a new man. Same goes for backwoods southern hicks who live in trailer homes and make their own moonshine in the bathtub. It's [just as?] hard to get out of there, too. Poverty is an ugly cycle.
Dig this. Would 'class privilege' be more appropriate then?

Yeah, because if a series doesn't stick to its stale, dated genre then it's shit.
Did you even play the first two Fallout games? They're great.
Yeah, they are. So is Republic Commando, but any game made in the same style (without the easy-sell LucasArts logo) would be crucified for being bland and lacking innovation.

I always love seeing O'Reilly and Stewart. It's fun to see the two duke it out in-character.
Do I believe that white people have advantages in certain areas over minorities? Of course. That's kinda tautological in the description of 'minority'. Be nature of a democracy, the majority, in whatever demographic, will always hold more power.
But O'Reilly is right, it is relative. A white guy growing up in a ghetto is less privileged (and I really hate that word because of how much it's been abused) than a black guy growing up in middle-class suburbia. To say that any given white person has more opportunity than any given black person is boldfaced racism; it doesn't accomplish anything, and all it does is stereotype based on skin color.

It's about as easy to transmit ebola as it is to transmit HIV.
You understand how astoundingly, horrendously, downright dangerously wrong that is, right?
When you remove it from the context, yes. I was referring to the point in the OP about being able to infect passengers just by sneezing on a plane.

Saw this a while ago. Yeah this is easy for an adult with years of experience, but for kids just learning it they need a different method to help ease them into it. Visual representations like this are very common and are much more helpful than just giving them a formula.

"How do we make an enemy harder?"
"Give it more health."
After Halo CE that's when Legendary went to shit. Instead of the AI being smarter, having more to them and changing encounters like the shotgun being found latter on. They just took the lazy way out and increased the amount of health, the damage output and they made them all the highest rank.
This really isn't true. Sure they gave them higher rank and adjusted the damage modifiers but they also did increased grenade avoidance, the tendency for them to rush you when shields are down or if you stay in one spot, higher grenade and weapon accuracy, and more aggressiveness. I'm not sure how you expect them to just make the AI "smarter". There's quite a bit that Bungie did to make Legendary more difficult besides making them bullet sponges.

On the other hand, politicians on both sides are forced into extremism by the pressure from the media to show a constant "us vs. them" mentality. The idea that one side is always wrong and the other is always right, believed by both sides, is very detrimental to the democratic process.

IIRC we already had a thread on this and it was confirmed by another user on here that this isn't the real Revan. It's a pretender or some shit.
What the fuck.

I haven't played this game in over a year, and didn't particularly like their take on Revan. But I kinda like where they're going with it now...The Empire and Republic team up to take down Revan who's preparing an Army to destroy them both. It definitely seems in line with his character at the end of the KOTOR series. Oddly enough, I saw this through one of the ads here. I would've never known about it. http://www.swtor.com/shadow-of-revan

Here's a list of some other doctrinal conflicts:
-The Book of Mormon's supremacy to the Bible -Satan and Jesus are "spirit brothers" -God used to be a man -You may become a god in the afterlife -God is married to another goddess and literally procreates with her to make spirit children -The Trinity is three distinct beings, rather than a trinity of one. -Denial of the virgin birth, a critical fulfillment of prophecy heralding Jesus as the Messiah -Without Joseph Smith there is no salvation, and no salvation outside of the LDS church -Lack of believe in salvation by grace alone -Lack of believe in the adequacy of Jesus in the act of salvation -No salvation without accepting Joseph Smith as a prophet -Acts are greater than grace in salvation
But about half of those are correct, the others are off.
I've got citations for all of 'em.

Who has been denied public office because of those defunct laws?
I'm sure a lot of people not reported about. There was a black woman who got recorded during a phone call saying she wouldn't hire any white people, and I'm sure the reverse has happened plenty of times as well.
Okay, that sucks, but it doesn't have anything to do with people being denied from running for office because they're atheists.

All you need to know is that he's wrong.
Well, Thomas Aquinas could've told him that 800 years ago.

Theology hasn't asserted the ontological argument for hundreds of years.

I don't, actually. I've never read any of his works, and I don't really count his Wikipedia page and a few links , like I just read, as such. So he took the original argument and tried to justify it using modern logic techniques? I haven't studied modal logic so I'm not familiar with it.
