In a low threat environment like the middle east, against guerrilla fighters or infantry, the Spectre is the obvious choice, though good luck getting one out in bumfuck Iraq. In a higher threat environment, especially against SAMs or manpads, the A-10 is less likely to trespass and get killed.

Where do I find good teammates to play with? Just had a game with a guy calling himself a "DPS battle Mercy" who only used his pistol and damage boost without healing.

Edit: lucky me got put with him on my team the game right after too.

There are some Overwatch LFG sites out there, but I usually prefer to just pick someone up every game or so and build a group that way.

The market of EA games has a large ratio of shit to quality games.

Why are some people getting "might vs. peace" over "nation vs. world" and "equality vs. market" instead of "equality vs wealth"? Those seem like very different implications.

I'm just not a huge fan of the theoretical nature of these. For example, the questions: "the very existence of the state is a threat to liberty" and "government surveillance is necessary to protect liberty" (paraphrased) aren't contradictory, in my eyes. Maybe the notion of a state is antithetical to some abstract notion of liberty, but in the parameters of libery as defined by a state's laws and constitution, government intervention in markets or surveillance of its people, or military activity in foreign conflicts may contribute to the security and liberty of the state's citizenry. Sometimes they may not. I understand that these are supposed to be theoretical, but it's hard answering these questions when, for almost every single one, I recognize multiple hypothetical and real examples for which I'd agree or disagree.

I would imagine the lack of regulation allows better surveillance of terrorist groups, and kneejerk authoritarianism is never the answer.

Why would I listen to what the developer has to say about what other players think about the game, and why should I support an obvious attempt to leverage a lower price for early access purchases? Purchasing unfinished games for full price is bad for the gaming industry.

Innovation in the typical military-shooter formula should be lauded. Even the campaign is pretty solid.

Halo 3's trailers were top-notch. ODST's ad campaign was good, too.

I like trailers which use CGI to convey the game's themes, but not try to represent its gameplay.

It won't be announced for another half hour though. It's still up in the air. And even then, it wouldn't go into effect until 2020.

Here's a really interesting article that you can read (though the audio provided is a much better format, and is the original source) describing how a Danish town managed to de-escalate (if not remove) the radicalization of 330 Muslims, 18 of which were returning from Syria, suspected of having engaged in fighting alongside ISIS. It definitely gives credence to the notion that many of these radicals come from broken homes or societies.
