Based on how badly 'Korra's going away thread' went I wasn't going to make one of these but oh well.
I'm going on an LDS mission, so I'm going to be one of those overly happy 'mormon missionaries'. That said I won't be able to visit the forums at all. For two years.
I leave tomorrow at 12pm so this is probably my last time on here for awhile. I love you guys, many laughs have been had, and friendships forged. I'm going to miss all of you. Farewell Sep7, for now.

It takes a certain mindset for both of those jobs. Do you know what you're getting into?
I do believe I possess that mindset. I also think to fully understand "what you're getting into" you actually have to experience it to understand it. So I have a gist but not a complete understanding.

research is more intellectually rewarding. On the plus side if you get something wrong you can still right a paper and learn something.
Being a surgeon is more financially rewarding. If you get something wrong here you get sued for millions.
