Our servers are in the US, and so (as far as I can tell from looking it up) it is not illegal, so long as the content is not photographs/actual depictions of a real child.

So yeah, it's allowed in Anarchy.
Well there ya have it, folks. Cartoon kiddies getting railed by the elderly is allowed. You're welcome.

Also if you plan for this place to get big, Anarchy will probably have to go at some point.
Why? The way I see it, Anarchy is our main draw.

In a word, advertisers. If this place gets big then you'll get a bunch of newer people who are unaffiliated with Bungie.net. Think an IGN or Giant Bomb.

How would it look to potential advertisers and investors if it was widely known that both of those places had unmoderated sections in their forums where users could pretty much post anything except for child porn? They wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as they have today.

Whoa, what the hell? We're NOT allowed to post child porn? I really have to reconsider being here now...

I'm sorry Camnator. I know little boy booty was your thing, but it just can't happen here.
on a side note-Apparently that's what my ex-gf had "a little boy booty". People then began to question my sexuality. XD

If we ever get some content creation that takes off (YouTube vids, more recent game reviews, etc.) we could stay strong for a good long while.

Also, as long as Bungie.net sucks we should be reasonably fine.
Hmm...I don't like the idea that we ride off of Bungie. I think we should stick with them for a bit, absorb the better members and just become an independent gaming site.

Awwwww <3 ;)
Absorbing you in our mass was the best thing to happen thus far. <3

I'm all for the Youtube Idea, reviewing games and doing walkthroughs etc.

We need someone with video editing skills, someone who's good at speaking and anyone with capture cards prepared to upload footage on a regular basis.
We could have like a Vocaroo thread, see who has the best voice to become the Septagon Youtuber. :P And who ever that is could send their videos to my buddy to edit it.

I'm thinking either a black shirt, white words,, blue logo.
Or a white shirt, Black words, blue logo.
Charcoal or black, most likely. I'm a fan of charcoal. We can't have a white shirt, though; we're the dark forum.
Oh yeah, I love those textured charcoal shirts.
White and blue plastisol. That would work perfectly.
Nuka, get back to that damn shop and make these shirts!
I'll chip in for the monies, get an estimate.
I can get shirts $3-5 bucks a pop from a wholesale store in my city, but like I said I don't have access until next January. I've sold the shirts I made at conventions before and they were pretty successful. I love doing it.
For the time being then let's just go through a website, to make the shirts. :P
This frustrates me, but I know there's not much I can do about it.
It's all good, mang. :) I think it would be dope if you were like the official tee-shirt guy.

Well yeah...that'd be great. The problem is actually doing it.

I can manage the site and troubleshoot the forum errors like a boss, and I'd like to think I'm a decent community manager, but we're going to need some extra hands if we want this place to keep getting awesome.

The YouTube thing for one. I hate making videos. I'm more the photoshop/illustrator type. We should start putting together some kind of video something to draw interest to the site.

Our reviews that we have are awesome and I can see that growing.

I can't really think of anything else we need to branch out to, but I'm sure there are other places and things to do to bring in traffic.
Heck yes, let's do it. Go on a recruiting spree! Go to your college class and find some trusted fellows who know their way around a computer. I could make that video/be the youtube guy. I would then send the videos to a more capable member to edit it and make it more pretty. L
Hm..Let's get an AD in gameinformer. I'd be willing to chip in to the cost.
I think we have a YouTube channel that someone made, but we need someone that can edit video, yeah.

I mean...I have a degree in graphic design, so I could do it, but I'd rather pull teeth than deal with video editing software (also not a fan of flash for this reason).

T-shirts were also a thing I was turning around in my mind, and that is something that would be awesome if we ever decide to go out into the real world to an event of some kind (or just wear it to Walmart or something; whatever).
Hm, I have a friend who is could be our editor. I'll give him a call.
Alright, Tee-shirts, that's a start. I'd totally purchase one and wear it to midnight game premiers and what not. Designing that shirt should be relatively easy. There's online companies that allow you to give them a design and they'll make the shirt for you. What I could do is buy like 20 of these shirts with the selected design and send it off to some members of this site to wear around?

Having unlocked every Halo Achievement for every Halo game with Achievements.

(Bar H2V; I don't play Halo on PC)
Impressive! I feel like I could have gotten close or succeeded in this if I bought all of the DLC
