Cook Out is the best fast food chain in NC.
The best burger joint though is El's Drive-in in Morehead City. The shrimp burger there is great.
Oh shit, they're already in NC?! I just thought they had a few locations here in VA. They're actually really good, especially for the price and food you get.
They're here, but my dead beat town doesn't have one. Shame, I used to eat there all the time.

Probs this local franchise called Highway 55. They have this whole 50's diner theme going for them and one of their menu items is this giant 10 inch tall burger with like 5 huge beef patties on it. Free, of course, if you can finish it in 30 minutes.
