Life sucked for immigrants, but it was supposedly better than where they came from.
The US Gov't were dicks and put laws in place that fracked immigrants over, if you were Asian, you were fracked.
It was called the Gilded age because everything was shit, but covered up to make it look fine. Like a piece of poop gilded in gold. It's gold, but it's still a piece of crap. You can thank my 8th grade history teacher for that one.
You either entered the country through New York, or California.
What is the poop-to-gold ratio

1.   In one word, describe how you would have felt as an immigrant stepping off of the boat at Ellis Island with little money and virtually no command of the English language. ängstlich
2.   Go online and further explore the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. What was the motivation behind this law?
3.   What role did immigrants play in the Industrialization of America?
4.   Why were settlement houses needed and why did the Social Gospel movement emerge during this time?
5.   What was the main goal of political machines?
6.   Who controlled the city’s political machine?
7.    What was the most famous political machine?
8.   What was the benefit of moving from the patronage system to the merit system?
9.   Describe the “planks” in the populist party platform.
10.   Why was it called the Gilded Age? (this may take additional research)
11.   Which push/pull factor do you think was the most important motivation for immigration
12.   What were the 2 main immigration stations in the U.S.?

You know if you left out the obvious bait behind the no answer you might have had a good discussion here.

Considering that MCC is just a bunch of repackaged, HD versions of old Halo games that everyone has played the hell out of I see absolutely no reason to even take a glance at it

Halo 2 classic and Halo CE (Xbox Version) is better than any computer game ever released.
Good thing Halo 2 and Halo CE are both on PC, huh?

It's 4 games in one, of course it's going to take up a shit ton of space.

Update
They couldn't fit it all on the disc.
Why don't they just throw in a second disc for installation purposes like Rockstar did with GTA V? It's 2014, Blu-ray discs aren't expensive anymore.
Because it's probably bad rep if we're only one year into this gen and a game already needs two discs.
As opposed to needing Day 1 updates the size of a last-gen game?

Both are pretty fucking embarrassing.

Why is it ok for Zimmerman to shoot Martin in defense, but not for Martin to attack a guy who is following him around the neighborhood?
I'm with you on the Zimmerman issue and Kinder being an idiot, but you know that attacking a guy and shooting in self-defense are two totally different issues. You can't just start wailing on somebody because you think they're a threat.
I don't know about you, but if somebody's following me around at night I'm assuming the worst and going off on him.
You can do that if you want, but that is assault, and also really dangerous and stupid.

He's right that a lot states should not have been allowed to join the EU though.
If it were comprised of, say, Britain, France, Germany, Benelux, the Netherlands and Scandinavia - with a smaller policy remit - it really wouldn't be a problem.

Benelux?
Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg

Don't feel bad, I had to google it.

This was a burglary, what the frack does race have to do with it?
Now we're getting somewhere

Zimmerman was just doing his job as a community watch officer and had to defend himself from attack
The cop in Ferguson was being attacked and the kid was trying to take his gone
The other cop in Missouri was being fired at

None of these incidents deal with race, but the left tries to make it about race
Right, and by making a big fucking deal out of it, you're acting just like them.

I'd also like to explain how we were driven from /v/

Moot, you see, has a girlfriend. This girlfriend works for Gawker media.

It just so happens that Kotaku, the biggest enemy of the GG movement, is owned by Gawker.

I think you can see why he did what he did, now.

He also purged a large number of mods who were against this decision.

The media keeps trying to sensationalize it and make it seem like we're in it to bully women and harass people, but the reality is all we want is journalistic integrity.

That's understandable, coming from a journalist major.
The problem is a lot of these journalists are using games media as a way to push their social ideology and politics, and they're all in bed with each other, pushing out anyone who won't follow the lead.
Then you have the patreon money getting passed around, and devs sleeping with journalists.
You can't trust anybody's word anymore.

The whole situation is a mess.
