We've been organized and we've made a ton of progress finding connections and collusions and exposing them, and we've already removed a few corrupted journalists.
We're not just whining, we're people from all kinds of different backgrounds working to stop games media from pushing political agendas where they do not belong.

If you have any understanding of meritocracy and similar systems you should already know what makes them more susceptible. And yes, the only source of corruption is voting. Because the Soviet Union, which lacked free elections, was such a squeaky clean operation.

Look, truthfully, I think Moot is right for banning the threads if it's turned into just shit-flinging and harassment/threats/raids. But that's not what has fucking happened. There have been multiple false-flags by the SJW figureheads who pretend to be harassed and attacked. We have, as a whole, been organized and rational about the whole thing. The #gamergate threads were mostly pointless anyway, No they weren't. and really there should only be a sticky with one post detailing the current events. As long as we could all post and stay organized in one fucking general thread, like we had been for weeks, it would have been fine. Plus there is still a lot of speculation, and though I think it's probably legit, 4Chan needs to stop being armchair detectives and just do what they can to support the cause without turning this into a huge shitstorm where nothing gets done.
We have been getting shit done! We get new shit done almost every day. Yes, it is a shitstorm, but it's a valid shitstorm. Our outrage is justified. Every day we uncover more corruption and abuse. And all of this is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The point is, Moot no longer allows free speech on 4chan.
