This is one of the worst things you can do. If you post a link to adware, spyware, malware, or anything else damaging or malicious to another person's computer, you will be gone from this forum forever. No second chances.

If you disagree with someone another user posts, attack the argument, not the other person. If someone is personally attacking you on the forums, hit the report link instead of reciprocating; you'll spend less time being banned that way.

If your thread title is "Cheat's a faggot" or even "Hey, Cheat, come in here!" you should probably think about using a PM instead. These types of threads will probably get locked unless there's a legitimate discussion to be had that couldn't otherwise be done through PM.

Religious, political, and other controversial discussion belongs in Serious, gaming goes in Gaming, and forum support goes in Support. Everything else goes in The Flood. If you don't pay attention to where you put your new threads, you may find them moved for you into the correct location.

You're given quite a toolbox in terms of making your posts look fantastic. Don't go painting every word a different color or changing the text size haphazardly. If your post is excessively difficult to read, your post will be removed and you will be banned.
