I would expect Max to force the batter to surrender the bat because the means of production need to be in the hands of the common players (including right field)

what the fuck does any of this even mean? it is basically just saying that anyone who takes the test is sexist LOL

Hostile Sexism Score: 3.73
Benevolent Sexism Score: 0.18

and btw a lot of the questions are homophobic because it implies that women and men are the only two people who can be involved with each other, so I strongly disagreed to all of those questions.

I'm just going to say that supporting government action to take someone else's property just because you're a tad uncomfortable with it is fucking stupid.

My aunt openly supports Obama ("He's my president" etc.).

I just avoid political discussions with her.  Actually, come to think of it, I avoid political discussions with most of my family because if they aren't hard-right Republicans they're hard-left Democrats.

Never really heard anyone openly support any American politician over here.
Thought you were American too?

Ex, our generation is pegged to think of the Republicans as a bunch of backwards old farts (Doubly true for us Canadians). But a few of my friends who are out working and building their careers have a more favourable view of them, at least in the economy department.
It seems to me that, typically, business owners and employers tend to be more economically conservative than consumers and employees.  Consumers want policies that benefit them, even if it has an adverse effect on businesses.  Take the minimum wage, for example.  I hear people all the time wanting the federal minimum raised to upwards of $10, but when Wal-Mart does the very thing they're wanting all businesses to do, they complain that small businesses can't afford to compete with Wal-Mart's salaries, which makes it even harder for them to compete with their lower prices.

I'm not saying that it's unreasonable to want policies that benefit you specifically, but I can't take you seriously when you don't even delve into how it's going to affect the overall health of the economy or society.*

I am never good enough. No accomplishment is my own. No matter how hard I worked at something, God will always get the credit.
Says who?  Mainstream religion?  Please.  You can own your accomplishments while also praising God.  Just as long as you're not an asshole about it.

Big generalization, I know, but that's the impression that I get.

-snip-
But if that's the case, what's the whole point in Jesus' sacrifice? If Jesus' death on the cross doesn't absolve us of our sins, why is "Jesus died for your sins" perpetuated?

It would seem that if you removed Jesus' death entirely, the end result would still be the same - having to answer for your sins on judgement day.
I'm guessing Jesus was the physical embodiment of God's love--his dying on the cross an expression of the lengths of said love.  All God wants in the end is for us to acknowledge this and accept it.

Assuming God is real.

If you could like get a third 980 and just send it to me anonymously with no return address that'd be great.

It's my personal belief that Jesus' death absolved humanity for its sins.  Until judgment day everyone goes to purgatory (a waiting room).  On judgment day everyone is given an account of their sins, and can choose to either seek forgiveness (accepting God as the one true god and Jesus as His son) or deny God's will.  The former will go to Heaven, the latter to Hell.  That's the only way I see that works with scripture and explains whether or not an isolated tribesman in the Amazon who has never heard of God still gets a chance.

Assuming God is real, of course.
