Its actually quite a bit different from Battlefield 4. I doubt you actually played more than the beta so not that your opinion really matters.
Yes it is quite different. In BF4 you have to play many days to rank up a ton, whereas in Hardline you just have to play Hotwire and drive around for six hours and you'll have enough money to unlock everything in the game.

What makes you say that? Covering US events, I feel that most media here is pretty neutral and portrays the truth rather accurately.
It portrays the hard facts, sure, but it doesn't give much context (especially cultural context). I read comments all the time from people who believe that everyone in America runs around with guns shooting each other, because they didn't know that the vast majority of gun crimes are gang-on-gang violence. It's one of the reasons I don't speak much about gun control in European countries. The cultures are completely different from my own and that lack of understanding would keep me from giving an informed opinion.

Maybe it has something to do with the general lack of knowledge and understanding of the outside world that is rather prevalent in the US, but everyone here that I know cares about politics in a lot of different countries.
Many Americans are apathetic about world politics because they're an ocean away from everything, but I get the feeling that a lot of Europeans' opinions of America is based on misinformation and what they read on Reddit.
