One thing that does bother me is the fire and particle effects. My modded Skyrim looks better.

Yeah I visit there often (I bet you'll never guess what my username is). A few suggestions to make your experience more enjoyable.
- Unsubscribe from /r/gaming and subscribe to /r/games. It deals more with actual discussion and less with le vidya maymays.
- Unsubscribe from /r/politics. It's literally cancer and is full of people that hate Republicans (but not for the right reasons). If you want to discuss politics there's dozens of political subreddits for every ideology.
- Unsubscribe from /r/funny and /r/pics. They're cancer.
- /r/tech is 100 times better than /r/technology.
- Get Reddit Enhancement Suite (Chrome/Firefox add-on). It makes the site 10x better.

I played all of those except for Voodoo Vince religiously when I was a kid, but I played Spy Hunter on my PS2 (I got a PS2 before I got an Xbox). MechAssault was probably the biggest one, because that's what introduced me to online multiplayer.

Brilliant idea.
A polycentric system would make it significantly harder to govern conquered territory. If Skyrim's governance were polycentric, the Thalmor capturing Solitude only means that they've captured Solitude. Hell, if the Empire weren't the Empire, the Thalmor would've had an incredibly hard time controlling the provinces, as there wouldn't be a unified trade system or military, currency standard or universal language.

You're going to need more than 1 TB of hard drive space if you're doing a lot of editing. Also I'd go for an 8-core CPU.
