Serious / Re: Should the founder of Silk Road have gotten his sentence?« on: May 31, 2015, 07:13:20 PM »
I have to wait for more details to come out before I can form an honest opinion. The Silk Road itself wasn't a bad thing warranting life in prison, but if it's true that he hired people he believed to be hitmen to kill six individuals then his sentence, while excessive, would be more deserving. He's also charged with computer hacking, which is such a vague term that I can't determine whether or not that was a violation of the NAP unless I know exactly what it entailed. The money-laundering charge is laughable because I'm more than sure it was brought up because Ulbricht's 144,000 bitcoins couldn't be taxed.

The Flood / Re: Minimum wage raising is pretty bad« on: May 31, 2015, 06:57:59 PM »Fair point. Although I can't test whether or not I could negotiate my wage down to do this one specific task because, like I said, that's illegal. That's why I can't just stock shelves if I want to work at Target. I also have to work the register, bring back stray buggies from the parking lot, help customers, etc. This is what basic business models do - get the fewest number of people to do the most work for the lowest wage. Every business does this. Because having more workers than you need doesn't pad your profit margins. 428
The Flood / Re: Make me a mod« on: May 31, 2015, 08:33:56 AM »Don't believe his lies. All mods are Zionist Jews who work for the Rothbards and Bilderbergs. It's all a part of Cheat's plan to give Soho back to the Jews. But srsly how do people really become modsIf the staff feels that we need more mods, we'll talk about it in the staff chat and/or make a thread in HQ. We all put our say in and discuss potential candidates. If someone is agreed on, Cheat sends them a message and then begins the initiation. 429
The Flood / Re: Minimum wage raising is pretty bad« on: May 31, 2015, 08:29:37 AM »
ITT: People who don't understand economics.
The minimum wage isn't bad because it causes prices to go up (it does cause that, but not by the exorbant amount you guys say it does), it's bad because it raises the barrier to entry for people wanting to enter the workforce. It chops off the bottom rungs of the economic ladder, making the poor poorer in the process. A minimum wage doesn't indicate the minimum amount employers have to pay you, it indicates the minimum amount of work you have to put in for employers to hire you. That's why I can't just stock shelves if I want to work at Target. I also have to work the register, bring back stray buggies from the parking lot, help customers, etc. Even if I wanted to only make $4-5 an hour stocking shelves from 12:00-8:00 a.m. I can't, because the government made it illegal. 430

If you're a bad driver then the one who taught you did a piss poor job of doing as such. That's a lot of the issue, really. The drivers ed teachers out there are.....garbage. The only previous game that was exclusive to Playstation was the first game. How were you going to get it on PC if it was going to be a PS4 exclusive?Well, exclusivity sucks for me because I was wanting to get it on PC when it drops to $20. I'm just afraid that someone is going to stop suddenly right in front of me and I'm going to hit them going 50-60. I'm in a minivan so I can't stop on a dime. It's like no one even physics.
