...and the members of Sep7agon are all that remain, because Cheat had been using his ad monies and Jew gold to build a vault which protects us from the radiation.

How do we rebuild society?

Consoles really need a quicksave option.

Okay, what's the matter with Steam Workshop? I've never used Nexus, though I planned too. But for the few Mods I saw floating around on Steam. Why not? Click subscribe, and you're done. It's there. No extra downloading or downloading files off Nexus and dragging them into the games files.
There's no way to troubleshoot incompatibilities or create merged patches with the Workshop.  If you're downloading anything other than a simple retexture mod or something that replaces sounds, you need to have a more powerful utility.

If this has better PVP and proper variety as opposed to Bloodborne, I might have to end up buying a next gen console some time.
I thought you had a PC?
Yeah, I do. My laptop is pretty capable. Not a gaming beast, but it ran Skyrim on Ultra settings at more or less a constant 60fps. Depending on the specs, I'd probably be able to run this too. I just prefer playing Souls games on console, I suppose.
Skyrim on ultra is like a potato with chives.  It's hardly intensive.

Although nowadays pretty much every new release is going to look great on medium-high settings.

Wish I could get a refund on the games that don't work on my rig (Cart Life, Oblivion).  That's $15 I could use in the summer sale.  Oh well.

Still nice to have it going forward, though.

Why would I buy a Jackson when I already own two Strats?
Because if Hendrix was alive today he'd play a Jackson soloist or an Ibby RG

Serious / Re: Your view on drug laws?
« on: June 01, 2015, 07:46:35 PM »
Legalization typically also entails support to those suffering from drug addiction.  I think that's one of the biggest things.  People addicted to opiates and painkillers don't need to be locked up for three months, they need to go to rehab.

In other words, if you don't make enough money to comfortably pay rent, don't rent your own apartment, and leave the west coast.
Yeah, everybody should just abandon major cities they live in and try to find a better life elsewhere and raise the cost of living wherever they move to.

Capital idea, old bean.
Yeah fuck all the people you grew up with, friends and family. just move, it's that easy.
>Not willing to make tough decisions

I don't want to pull the tired bootstraps bullshit but goddamn.  You're not going to be comfortable the first few years out of your parents' house.  Figure it out.

406
Furthermore, state- and even county-level studies of housing costs don't tell us as much as we would like them to, given the existence of low-rent areas within these states and counties which aren't properly accounted for by the research. There is a great deal of variability in rent, even in places like New York City.
In Charleston, SC, for example (where I'm moving), a 3-bedroom 2.5-bath place in Mt. Pleasant might run you $1,200/mo. while a similar house ten minutes down the road in Charleston could cost upwards of $4,000/mo.

The prices don't just vary by state, they vary wildy depending on what street you're living on, whether you're facing north or south, and even by your distance to the nearest bus/tram stop.

It's the reason why I feel like people either aren't looking hard enough or (most likely) have set their expectations for what they can afford at the age of 20 a bit too high.

Serious / Re: "Fox News says gay marriage is conservative"
« on: June 01, 2015, 02:50:25 PM »
considering how long and relentlessly fox has railed against the lgbt community...yeah.
So, you aren't happy about their bad record.

And you aren't happy about their amending that record?
But they aren't amending it. Because now that they realize they're not gaining followers by running the LGBT hate-train, they're pretending that LGBT rights is a conservative issue, which they've clearly displayed that it is not.
It's a conservative issue in that many conservatives don't want it because if LGBTs can marry then God will bring the plague to America like he has to Europe.

You should really expect this bullshit from Wal-Mart. Like you should expect them to do anything possible to cheap out on everything without seeming like a completely obvious evil corporation from an 80's movie. The store I work at raised the minimum wage for employees to $9/hr so now they're of course cutting back hours.

As far as actually solving the whole insufficient income thing Lowering cost of living would take a lot of effort and money, raising the wages just requires sneaking a bill by the lobbyists that raises the wage immediately by a significant amount. Yeah sure there might be some turmoil at first but the end result could be that businesses start making more money because the low income workers are suddenly making enough money to actually buy stuff.
>Doesn't realize that big corporations want a raised minimum wage because they're the only ones with the wealth and scale to support it

It isn't compatible with Chrome.

One deer can feed a family for the better part of the year.  I don't know any hunters that hunt just to shoot things.  It's always for the meat, and it's always for themselves (not to be sold to a market).  One guy I know will spend two to three days tracking a single buck, and then shoots it right in the heart while it isn't looking.  The deer doesn't suffer, and four people get fed.  The fact that it's good for the local ecosystem is a bonus.

But if you're hunting just for the antlers or the head, or you hunt just to sell the meat later, you're a cunt.

Serious / Re: Best definition of marriage? (Also, polygamy)
« on: June 01, 2015, 01:16:18 AM »
Marriage functions in society as a contract between two or more individuals which determines what property is shared, what happens to a person's personal goods in the event of death, etc.  I don't really consider it a religious thing anymore, although I do find divorce despicable.
