It's coming to Atlanta and Charlotte.  Columbia is right in the middle.  I might get to enjoy it in the next decade!  :D

I cannot comprehend why people even played that shit to begin with. I played MW2 and it was boring as hell, same with MW1 and World at War. All around shitty gameplay.
They were great games and were set apart from the rest for their smooth gameplay (60 FPS) and easy access.

They don't hold up today nearly as well, but at the time MW and MW2 were some of the best FPS out there (at least for consoles).

Can't you just sign some sort of agreement saying that you'll pay whatever liability cost the school pays?

This is of course if you can't get the dean to undo his decision.

You're comfortable in the life you have and can't come to terms with that fact that you have to go down in order to go back up.

Like, I don't have a job, I'm not in school, but I have a comfortable bed and many luxuries that keep me occupied.  I'm afraid of getting a job and going to school because I don't want to lose that certainty.

My advice?  Do what I should do.  Cut yourself off from your family's money (minus college)--that means lose the fancy car(s), get a part-time job, and get in school.  Make yourself into who you want to be.  Don't know who you want to be?  You'll find out once you're out on your own.  I'm extremely jealous of my friends who have moved out of the nest and have to worry about bills and such because they have one thing I don't: individuality and motivation.

...But It's better than that horrible excuse of a console known as the Xbone. Seriously, the Xbone looks like a freaking VCR. Also.... What kind of advanced console has no backwards compatibility? This isn't rocket science. Microsoft has successfully done it before. They just choose not to even bother doing it for this thing because "TV Sports."

I know PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility either but at least they're going to make up for it... right?

Edit: They already did, called PlayStation Now.
Both consoles are sorry excuses for "next-gen".  I just went with the console that's controller I liked better and had Halo.  My Xbox One is literally used for Netflix 95% of the time.

And that teacher will loose their job. 1st Amendment violation. Rights even apply to students
You don't have rights in school.  If I had First Amendment rights in school I wouldn't have gotten in trouble for calling a teacher's argument for social justice "bullshit" my sophomore year.

And even some of my friends at my church think that the pledge shouldn't exist.  According to them you're supposed to pledge yourself to God's kingdom, not a secular nation.

It's not the teacher's place to impose their personal views on their students in a graded assignment.

EDIT:  However questions like these are what get people's minds churning.  Honestly I think a better assignment would be to compare U.S. foreign and domestic policy to that of the Third Reich.

Can they beat Belgium's record, this is the question.
What has happened in Belgium?
they went about 500 days and change, without a government (2010-11 ish). funny thing is that no one reported on it at all because there wasnt a big revolution or revolt and people didnt go batshit insane because Big Brother wasnt there to watch over them.
It's almost like people don't need a government to tell them right from wrong...

If the best government is that which governs least, how do you explain the socialist-based governments of places like Finland and other Nordic countries where people are really happy?
Scandinavia is overdue for collapse.  Their economies were built on the free market and since the socialization of their markets they've become stagnant.

OT: Small government, because people have a way of finding their own path.  I see more examples of government getting in the way than I do of them helping.

On September 30, 2011 a drone strike in Yemen killed American citizens Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan.[64] Both individuals resided in Yemen at the time of their deaths. The executive order approving Al-Awlaki's death was issued by the Obama administration in 2010 and challenged by the American Civil Liberties Union and the Center for Constitutional Rights in that year.

Amendment VI:-
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confonted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favour, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defence.

People shouldn't give a shit how many people you sleep with in general. People are way too uptight about sex these days.
It's funny, because I completely agree with this, but I still feel the need to have another virgin as my "first".

I don't pick sides.  I just vote for whoever wants to grow the state the least (or shrink it).

Ironic thing is that me voting, in a way, legitimizes the system that I believe is illegitimate because of its use of violence, theft and coercion against its citizens.

Serious / Re: Do you believe in a god, if so why?
« on: September 26, 2014, 09:49:34 PM »
No.  I did until I saw that God is just a crutch for people's suffering, and Satan is just a crutch for people to blame all of their wrongdoings on, and that religion itself is nothing but a money-making machine used chiefly to get people to submit to an authority they cannot see nor touch, in order to condition them into submitting to other, earthly authorities (the church, the state, etc.).

Another perfect example of why we shouldn't involve ourselves with democracy.
Que?
Democracy is mob rule, and in the case of the US the mob is dumb 99% of the time.
