Only hope this doesn't hinder the alternative energy automobile industry that bad.
Then make alt. energy cheaper than gas

Would love to - let the oil companies know that we should start doing so for me, will ya?
That's the great thing about Capitalism, people will learn on their own that in order to make money, they have to offer competitive prices

And that's the thing about new inventions - they are never cheap to mass produce and offer to the general population, at least right away.
That's usually because the company/person that comes up with the invention isn't the company most suited to capitalize on it.

I blame patents.

From my point of view the originals are evil.

They're proud of your intellect.  Not many parents can say that their kids are intelligent.  Sure a ton of kids out there play sports or play an instrument, but none of those things necessarily require a high intelligence.

Just smile and say, "Thanks, mom/dad."  All they want is your approval for how you were brought up.  Many parents see their child's intellect as a measurement of how well they functioned as parents.  Even if they didn't teach you what they know, they provided the environment that enabled you to accrue so much knowledge.

Go over there and tell the mother what-for.  Tell her that she needs to get her shit together for the sake of her family.

Don't call SS until after you do this.  Heavily imply that you will call SS if the mother doesn't straighten up.

My name is Brendon, and I was born in 1994.

My dad mashed these two things together when he made my Xbox Live account for me in 2003.  I owned a PlayStation 2 before that and he brought home an Xbox and signed me up for the online service because one of his colleagues said that it was miles ahead of PSN.

I see libertarianism as a stepping stone to anarcho-capitalism.

The tuition bubble is going to burst in the next few years.  Where you get a degree carries little weight because education has globalized.  The tuition rates are extremely inflated.
