Of course the US isn't being turned into britain, what Farage was outlining in that interview was turning the UK into the USA. Me no likey.
Firearms were never totally banned, we still have shotguns and rifles etc for sporting/farmers. What we don't have are handguns, you know, the firearm with which the most crimes are committed per capita. What I don't want to see is the sudden reintroduction of handguns to the UK when it's pretty unnecessary to do so.
I was referring to radical Islam's encroachment on the British Isles. As for handguns, I guess it's a cultural thing. If I wasn't allowed to keep a Glock in my glove box while driving downtown at 2:00 a.m. I'd feel significantly less safe.

What makes sad music sad? Minor key, melody floats around the root note of the I chord. Why makes upbeat music sound happy? Cut-time, major key, roller coaster melody. You listen to a horror movie soundtrack, no matter who you are, you can tell that the music is designed to elicit fear. Minor key, diminished triads, half-step chord changes (ex: the change from F#-minor to F-major in the Halloween theme). Edit: I don't associate music with emotions so the above is based on what I've observed mostly by gauging reactions to particular songs.
