About $200 cash.

The bank is closed, and cash won't help me with Steam sales.

Woke up at 10.  Watched my sister open presents.  Bought a few games on Steam.  Took a nap from 1:00 to 4:00.  Now I'm going to play some vidya games.

And yeah, it's one of those things where the most anyone on the street is ever likely to be packing is either a boxcutter or their carkeys. Knives are fairly common mind you, but you can walk away from a knife fight a lot more easily than you can from a gunfight >.>
I'm more afraid of knives than I am of guns.  ._.

My mom spent all our family's Christmas budget on orphans and QVC.

QVC?
24-hour shop-at-home television station.  TWC channel 14, DirecTV channel 275.

Hokai, I'll clear a few things up.

Of course the US isn't being turned into britain, what Farage was outlining in that interview was turning the UK into the USA. Me no likey.

Firearms were never totally banned, we still have shotguns and rifles etc for sporting/farmers. What we don't have are handguns, you know, the firearm with which the most crimes are committed per capita. What I don't want to see is the sudden reintroduction of handguns to the UK when it's pretty unnecessary to do so.
I was referring to radical Islam's encroachment on the British Isles.  As for handguns, I guess it's a cultural thing.  If I wasn't allowed to keep a Glock in my glove box while driving downtown at 2:00 a.m. I'd feel significantly less safe.

Has to do with the way most people's brains react to the notes in the melody/chord structure/key signature.
You don't say.

Well, that was a whole lot of nothing.

Don't answer questions that you don't know the complete answer to.
I'm not going to fucking pretend to know something.  Go look on Wikipedia.

UKIP are shit, Nigel might be a charismatic soul but his party is just bad news .______.

Brb turning the UK into the USAyy lmao.

Reintroduce firearms (Handguns) AND remove the NHS!
Yaaaa no thanks, I like living in a first world country.
Last I checked, the US isn't being turned into Britonistan.

And if reintroducing firearms is a problem then the UK isn't any better off than it is when guns were banned, at least not from a societal standpoint.

I'm not literally asking what makes the music, as if I don't already know that.

Like, you can explain HOW a music can be sad all you want. You can tell me how to make a sad song. But that doesn't help me understand why the music is sad inherently. Or happy. Or whatever.

You don't understand what I'm asking.
Explain.  Because, musically speaking, what I said is true 99% of the time.

What makes sad music sad?
Minor key, melody floats around the root note of the I chord.
Quote
Why makes upbeat music sound happy?
Cut-time, major key, roller coaster melody.
Quote
You listen to a horror movie soundtrack, no matter who you are, you can tell that the music is designed to elicit fear.
Minor key, diminished triads, half-step chord changes (ex: the change from F#-minor to F-major in the Halloween theme).

Edit:  I don't associate music with emotions so the above is based on what I've observed mostly by gauging reactions to particular songs.
