I was over the phone 3rd party tech support for almost 6 months and I felt the job was sketcy so I left. Should I contact them and re-apply for the position because I hate working at Target?

Bard is one of the most fun supports in the game but the problem is he only bring utility. He is like what Zyra is after Season 4. There are other Champions that do what he does better and his kit doesn't offer enough to justify his playstyle.

Bard is a support, one that is supposed to roam and make plays. The problem is his stun is a skillshot that lasts shorter than Taric's stun. His heal does marginal if you don't build AP. His Journey has a really long cooldown on the current patch and doesn't really offer much in terms of roaming presence because of its cooldown. His Ultimate is really the only good spell he has.

What I think should be done/is being done.

Buff his AP Ratio on his only damaging spell. - Q (Currently being changed)

Make his relics heal for more while it's not charged but debuff it's total heal. -W

Reduce the spells coodown. - E (Currently being changed)

Ultimate is just fine. - R (Maybe reduce the movement speed of the shot based upon how close bard throws it.)

Passive: They are reducing the cooldown for Meeps which is nice and they are increasing his base damage but currently he doesn't do any damage with anything. His slow is nice but takes until late game to exist in any significant manner.

Changes I'd like is to have chimes spawn a lot closer together so that pathing to get them is easier and doesn't take 6 minutes of waiting to chain chimes movement speed.

Gaming / Have you played games that feel like they play themselves?
« on: March 24, 2015, 11:36:22 PM »
I've recently been playing BeatBuddy and I have to say the couple songs it has sound great but the game is too easy that it feels like it plays itself. There really isn't a challenge at all with it.

Prepare for me to write and essay when I get back but man this character is fun to play but lacks in so many aspects that he is nearly useless.

Good god. They don't have enough people to do what needs to be done as as such it feels likes nothing gets done on time and it's hard to know when I have to do something and when I don't have to.  I feel like everyone has to do everything and it makes everything inefficient.

We were playing a game like Catch Phrase where my sister described her word by saying "You put it between your fingers and it grows and then you let it go!"

Everyone but my father and mother died of laughter until we partially explained it to my father and my little sister was still in oblivion.

The Flood / "Thimble Kings" New short by Olan and Thomas

I've always enjoyed the style of skits that Olan and his friends did a while back. I laughed a bit at this video because of it being random and enjoyable.

It reminds me of when there was Balloon Shop

Gaming / Thinking of Importing a n3DS from the UK (Or Japan)
« on: February 13, 2015, 01:36:27 AM »
I live in the United States and if you haven't heard NoA doesn't plan on selling the standard "New" 3DS in the United States. I don't want an XL because I already have one and it is a bit too big and I want to downsize. Anyone know of if I should try to import one from Europe? Is there any catch (Other than Region Locking) that I have to deal with? I plan on getting Xenoblade and Pokemon Omega Ruby for it.

(I'm also wondering if I should import from Japan, but the problem is I don't know Japanese)

Septagon / It's hard to take Sep7agon seriously.
« on: February 08, 2015, 09:11:14 PM »
I feel that here there is a lack of serious posting and people just circle jerk about everything and if you aren't a part of the circle jerk you aren't welcome. The Flood was a place where I use to go to talk to other people about random things,  whether it be homework or games I always felt welcome.

The community here is quite the opposite and as such all I feel from everyone is a general concensus of hostility. Everyone rags on the each other and often pile up on new posters and accuse them of being alts or someone they dislike from Bungie.net.

I made a post about this in The Flood but the Gaming forum just feels like The Flood about games.  Why even have a different section to talk about games when everyone else there wants to circle-jerk and shitpost?

This forum LOOKS nice from the outside but as you talk to its members you feel like you are just on a censored version of /b/ where everyone knows each other and just wants to shitsling.

This is a problem and the overall hostility will drive members away. Banning people for being hurt isn't the way to solve the issue. Moderation needs to be transparent. Moderation needs to exist in the Gaming forum because currently it's just The Flood but about games.  I get more worthwhile posts from /r/Gaming. Every day I see more and more reasons to not come back here anymore and to just find somewhere else to go lurk.

The Flood / The reasons I can never take this forum seriously.
« on: February 04, 2015, 04:44:31 PM »
The posters here are all elitists especially if you mention the flaws of a popular franchise *cough*Halo*cough* or even mention anything about PCs.

I don't feel this issue with users in the Flood subsection but in Gaming everyone seems like elitist assholes and no one wants to discuss games, but rather they want to say why their opinion about a game is the only correct one.

Edit: also all the flamebait.

Edit2 : This thread is now an example of what happens when someone mentions any of these things: Nintendo, Halo, Pokemon, Call of Duty, MOBA, Sprinting, 343i, Bungie, Destiny, ect.

Gaming / I think I'm done with Online Gaming for a while.
« on: February 03, 2015, 01:02:54 AM »
It's that time of year again, where matchmaking decides that MMR doesn't matter and the Chinese and Koreans start playing on NA servers. I'm getting frustrated in every game I play if I have to deal with a team because it feels like every game I get a horrible team or I'm put into a game with people that are way to far above my skill level.

I think I'm going to go back to Beatbuddy and Pokemon for the next month.

The Flood / Looking for alternative programs/services with better privacy.
« on: February 01, 2015, 10:23:34 PM »
Eventually I want all my online activity to be encrypted and private so I'd like to ask what everyone uses to stay private online. Right now I'm still using Gmail which I know isn't private at all and I'd like to ask if anyone knows of any email service that is better in terms of privacy.

Also I'd like to know if there is any options for private IMing programs that I could use as well.

Edit: So far I have just made a minor step by moving to Waterfox from Chrome and installed Ghostery and Adblock.

I can tell you as someone who snaps two windows this site's navigation bar is absolute trash now. I usually browse on mobile so it usually isn't an issue but now that I have two monitors this is really annoying. Any time a chrome window is just under 965px wide it will go to mobile mode. Can't you set up the website to detect the browser/device with cookies or something? This is really annoying to deal with.
