The Flood / Re: A community ERB poll« on: December 20, 2014, 02:39:28 PM »You were a toddler in the mid-ninties(at best, most likely an infant) And to if overrated-ness is rated by popularity vs a films "value" (both of which would have to be given a quantifiable measurement) you would still have to see every film to be able to decide which one is "the most over rated of all time" in order to assign each one a "value"You're basically saying that Pulp Fiction isn't obviously one of the most well-known films, ever. Which is just plain stupid. I don't really need to touch fire to know that it's hot, either. 45843

The Flood / Re: A community ERB poll« on: December 20, 2014, 02:29:30 PM »You would have to see every film ever made to know thatexcept i wouldn't because when talking about "overratedness" you're referring to a film's popularity in relation to its actual value as a film if you doubt the fact that pulp fiction is one of the most well-renowned films in the mid-nineties, if not the most well-renowned, you're just not cultured or ten The prequel to Reservoir Dogs?yes actually i was under the impression that they took place at the same time but reservoir dogs is the superior film anyway 45846

The Flood / Re: mad as fuck« on: December 20, 2014, 01:14:21 PM »—*Funny how you try to correct that, but you probably don't even know the em dash's alt code (alt+0151). This laptop doesn't have a number pad, so I'm deprived of using em dashes, unless I literally search "em dash" onto Google just to copy/paste it into my message, which I can't be fucked to do, especially since the double hyphen is commonly used to denote a dash in literature, and typing two hyphens in modern word processors does indeed create an em dash. Now you're probably going to accuse me of creating a "run-on sentence", even though there isn't one. 45859
The Flood / Re: mad as fuck« on: December 20, 2014, 01:10:23 PM »the title of the thread describes u right now*capitalization and punctuation *you Those who have proven themselves capable of writing well, such as myself, are allowed to break rules if it helps their rhetoric. For example--sentence fragments are not only acceptable, but encouraged by English professors for their rhetorical effect. They can elicit a sense of bluntness within the author's tone, among other things. I've established that when I type without capitalization/punctuation, I'm doing it because I want to create a relaxed tone, as if what is being said is being said while lounging on a couch or something--which usually tends to be the case anyway. But since you think forum posts should be like formal essays, I will severely censure all of your posts as though I were critiquing some illiterate cunt's drivel--which I am. 45861

Gaming / Re: Games that had that one, difficult level that took you forever to pass?« on: December 20, 2014, 11:58:16 AM »
This game was actually hard as fuck, but only because they start you off with a deck filled with shit like this. None of them have effects, either. The only way to get stronger cards was to win duels, which... there's only a set amount. You beat someone once, and you can't fight them again.
But I mean, that's more a design flaw. See, if a game is "hard," it's probably not good. A better word is "challenging," obviously. The game's not challenging; it just fucks you over. 45868
