it's hard for me to imagine someone not doing this, to where i'd be inclined to believe that someone who claims that they don't is either lying, or they just don't understand what it means to have an inner voice, because it wasn't explained to them properly—they might be interpreting the question as "do you hear voices" or "are you schizophrenic" or something

i even listen to music in my head, which is why i never found it necessary to get an mp3 player or anything like that as a kid—and to this day, i still think listening to music with your phone is a little strange—because what's the point if i can just play back any song i want in my head at will
"anyone who doesnt agree with me is lying", classic
we're not talking about agreeing or disagreeing with things

we're talking about doing or not doing things

thank you for admitting that you must be one of these smooth-brained fucks who doesn't think in language
No, I have an inner voice

but everyone is different

it's very egotistical to believe that your experience = everyone's
it would be egotistical if that were my only reason for thinking it must be everyone else's experience

but it isn't, you're just retarded
literally what other reason could you possibly have
think REALLY REALLY hard

I’d hardly consider every Trump voter a radical. If you remember back to 2016, basically all the Trump supporters on this website were just a bunch of floodposters that wouldn’t ever respond when challenged on it. That’s basically how I view a large chunk of his voters: they may not necessarily agree with him or know why they voted for him, they just did it anyways.
idiots, in other words

radicals, idiots, or radical idiots: trump's voterbase

See I though about that as well, that they just didn't understand what it meant to have an "inner voice," but then I considered the idea of someone who was never taught any language at all. Like a hypothetical "raised by animals" child. I wonder what thoughts would be like for them.

Also, regarding your point about music, why then would you ever listen to a song again if you can remember the entire thing? While I do play songs in my head, and in fact I almost always have at least one song or another stuck in it, actually hearing music triggers a greater emotional response for me.
if i were to be super clinical and honest about it, there are pretty much only two reasons i would ever relisten to a song i've already memorized—either because i haven't fully memorized it yet, or because i want a louder version of the song, loud enough for my mind to become fully subsumed within the music

because the imaginary decibels that my mind creates can only go up so high, and they cannot always drown out noise from the outside, unless i concentrate really hard, which is a lot of effort for what's supposed to be a passive activity

Staunch Trump supports were never going to vote for Hillary, but I thought I made it pretty obvious that I'm not talking about those people. I'm talking about the millions of moderates that actually gave Trump the advantage. The people that will vote either way depending on the candidate. Not everyone in this country is so strictly partisan.
If you're given a choice between Trump and Clinton, and you are genuinely unsure of which one to choose, you're not a moderate.

Being a moderate does not mean you think all candidates are worthy of equal individual consideration—the only people who think this way are children who don't have the right to vote anyway, because they're ignorant. Being a moderate just means you find yourself in the center of the political spectrum. That means, if you're a real moderate, more extreme candidates are going to turn you away.

Pretty much every single person who voted for Trump had an agenda. Virtually none of them were moderates, because a moderate would've considered Trump to be the joke candidate that he was.

October's NES games just dropped today, so I'll be posting reviews for each very soon.

On top of the three promised games, we received a surprise fourth game—a "special edition" of The Legend of Zelda which gives you all the items in the game right at the start. Uh, all right then. I'm more interested in the concept itself, and I wonder where they'll go with it in the future.

I also finally beat Gradius the other day... with suspend points. Some day I'll be good enough at it to not need any at all.

but he shouldn't be suing because he gave them a deal, and that was the deal

How fairs the search?
just far enough to feel like a journey, just few enough to feel extremely rewarding when i do find something great

most recently, i discovered thisA Well-Ordered Restaurant—a short horror film that's gorgeous in every way, and will probably top the list i make for that year when the time comes

trying to catch up on things made in the last decade as well

I'm interested in revamping my rating system a bit. Watching a show, but only giving my thoughts (if I have any at all) after I've already completed or dropped it is starting to become a bit stale for me, so I think I'll try this instead:

When I try a new show, I'll give my thoughts on the first episode, which should only take a couple of sentences. Then I'll rate the episode out of 10 like normal, but this time, I'll add either the letter Y or the letter N to the rating—and this letter will denote whether I'll continue to watch the rest of the show.

Y means yes, I'll continue watching the show for as long as I please—I might still decide to drop it later, and I'll talk about why when the day comes, but I might just decide to complete it, as well.

N means no, I'm pretty much done here. I firmly believe that no show is dropped forever, and I'm open to returning to just about anything, but if I'm going to continue watching a show I've rated N, I'm gonna need some serious convincing.

For obvious reasons, only shows rated with 5/10 or below will be assigned a Y or N—because if I like a show, it's a given that I'm going to keep watching it. I can envision a situation where a show is markedly decent, but not engaging enough for me to care to continue—I can think of one show offhand where this applies—but these will probably be rare.

I'm also gonna try to avoid submitting blank reviews from now on, but more as a personal challenge. Sometimes a show is just boring and nondescript, and I don't wanna waste anyone's time giving them my thoughts on a show they'll never see or hear about again. But to help strengthen my writing, I think it's good practice to try explaining things that are otherwise mundane and difficult to explain. It'll also just make me look less lazy.
