Seriously though, could it possibly be for? Your profile page says nothing about a ban.

How long until everyone is wearing a mask when they leave the house?

Ebola is not airborne it is contracted through contact with fluid, so a typical mask would not help much.

Like others have said, it will not spread in places that practice basic hygiene. The main reason it is so bad in Africa is because they have traditions where families stay close to the sick and handle the bodies of the deceased.

Just searched it, doesn't seem to be an A.K.A. of Reichskonkordat, though my History teachers (multiple) and the examining board specifications explicitly mention it as the same thing.

What kind of History Class would bring up the White-Gold concordant?

Satan can turn good into bad and God can turn bad into good.

Here's where I'd like you to define "good" and "evil" since in the bible God wanted humans to remain ignorant of the world and live like animals, then resorted to mass killings and torture to enforce his mostly arbitrary rules, while Satan wanted humans to seek knowledge and freely express their desires and did so without killing or threatening people.

Plus if God was really all-powerful it really doesn't make sense that he would allow Satan to muck about in the first place.

Huh, that sounds a lot like the theory that's been going around about how the Traveler is actually evil and the guardians are its unknowing undead army doing it's bidding by committing genocide against alien races.

Whilst we don't have access to the cores, there is nothing stopping individuals from taking their own samples - apart from the funding to drag their ass across the arctic, the scientific knowhow to take, record and interpret the data themselves and the will to do it.
Except for the government which would stop you and sweep the "incident" under the rug as instrumentation failure that got you and your group killed.

Spoiler
It's not rational to think that the only place you can get information on climate is in the most hazardous, unreachable, and unsurvivable place on earth... too much of a coincidence IMO. Why can't we find this information elsewhere, like in rock patterns and formations? Why does it have to only exist in a place that we cannot have access to?

Because most rocks don't have air bubbles in them and there aren't many other places where ice can build up and not melt.
Sure there are, what about the permafrost in Russia?

At this point I don't think it's really worth arguing with you, but for the sake of giving some of those reading this thread some neat trivia I'll elaborate on why that question makes you look incredibly ignorant of the topic.

First, permafrost is frozen dirt. Underground. Where there isn't air.

Second, since permafrost is solid dirt it doesn't tend to build up layers annually, and if it did it would be through erosion which wouldn't trap samples of the atmosphere and happens over much larger timescales.

Third, permafrost only occurs in hazardous, unreachable-to-you places, which kind of defeats the purpose of you suggesting it as an alternative.

Fourth, we do get ice cores from Russia. Only problem is the only places out of the arctic where surface ice doesn't melt in the summer is at high altitudes, so Antarctica and Greenland are actually easier to set up research stations at.

Fifth and where many would misuse the word ironically, in recent years permafrost in Siberia and Alaska has been melting at an accelerated rate, often cited as one of the direct effects of climate change.

Lastly, you only needed to Google 'permafrost' to have this information provided to you, so there isn't really an excuse for being so uninformed.

Not believe in a deity.
>Reincarnation

Even if they believe in reincarnation, as long as they don't believe in a deity or deities they are still technically atheist.
No they aren't.

By the literal definition of atheism they are.
Or rather, the western definition.

Well, "atheism" is an English word so what other definition is there?

Besides, the only major belief system that accepts some form of reincarnation but no deities is Buddhism, but Buddhism doesn't actively believe in anything supernatural (even their idea of reincarnation can be seen as more symbolic since they reject the idea of a soul, so it's not like you personally come back after death but that your body is just part of a cycle of life, kind of like what biology says only a bit more poetic).

Many don't even consider it a religion, even the Dalai Lama said it can be seen as a science of the mind and not a religion. Either way it's still an atheist philosophy by the "western" definition.

You do know that Cracked article was written by Zoe herself right?

Basically, it started with Zoe getting a text-based game onto steam called Depression Quest. A lot of people felt it didn't deserve the media attention it was getting because it wasn't really a game and was overshadowing other projects seen as more worthy.

Zoe also shut down a game jam run by a company called The Fine Young Capitalists, whose goal was to get women who lacked the ability to develop their own games to pitch their ideas. Zoe thought this was misogynistic since it implied woman can't develop games on their own, and got a following of people to attack TFYC.

Then Zoe's ex boyfriend claimed that Zoe was sleeping with the journalists and developers who were promoting her Depression Quest game.

People didn't like these thigns, and Zoe came under fire. Around this time Zoe claimed to be targeted with doxxings and death threats specifically from a site called Wizardchan, however Wizardchan denied it and there is evidence suggesting that Zoe may have fabricated the whole thing in order to gain support in order to sweep her actions under the rug (don't take my word for it, but there were many holes in her story).

Then, many sites like reddit started censoring and banning anyone who spoke out against anything to do with the above. In the wake of the accusations of misogyny, members of 4chan's /v/ reached out to The Fine Young Capitalists and donated several thousand dollars to their reestablished women's game jam. TFYC then became the target of threats and doxxings from supporters of Zoe.

The focus then turned away from Zoe and towards gaming journalism sites, who were now seen as corrupt and focused on pushing agendas rather than reporting. It didn't help that those sites began publishing articles attacking gamers and accusing the whole industry of being misogynistic. That's pretty much where it is now.

TL;DR: Zoe Quinn allegedly did some very awful things, and when gamers tried to speak out about it the media began censoring them and labeled them as misogynistic. Gamergate is now mainly focused on bias in the media, but a lot of sites including cracked seem to think it's about attacking Zoe for being a woman.

The President is a civilian. He shouldn't even be saluting to begin with.
The Commander-in-chief shouldn't be saluting? Lol what?

It's a military thing. Traditionally saluting was supposed to only be done by members of the military while in uniform, until Reagan decided to make it a slightly more casual gesture.
