Considering that he seems to be clueless on the subject that is likely the case. I think some people were just insulted that someone could be so ignorant about life and just immediately assumed his wealth was the reason for it, not the other way around like you suggested.

From a completely match-to-match based system to XP, upgrades and levels.
Honestly this is what bothers me the most. I don't mind changes to gameplay (the only things really I don't like about CoD's gameplay are the awful gunplay and killstreaks), but having the emphasis shifted away from winning and getting achievements to endlessly grinding points is a travisty. I have so many good memories of working with my friends to get various achievements for halo 3 and ODST, but Halo 4 was just a forgettable timesink.

Wish the game had randomly generated npc villagers.
That would be nice. Every so often when you visit a location you come across some people that are from different areas of Skyrim and the other countries/areas in the lore.
There's a mod for that.

I'm well aware that there's bad mods (I think they're all bad), but the fact that you can improve the game with mods is still one of those no-brainer things. So when someone says, "I think the game is better with mods," it's like... Yeah. Duh.
I think when people say that what they really mean is "I think the game is shitty without mods."

Which brings to my point many responses back, what if he opened fire and a bystander in their house was struck? What if the pellet gun had been a real gun and a person was hit? The department would be held accountable. A situation where an armed person is outside in a populated area is different than a person in their home with nobody around. In certain situations, things have to be taken to action in a swift manner to prevent unnecessary collateral damage
It's quite a gamble, I'll give you that. If you shoot, you definitely kill a person and might have saved others. If you don't shoot you don't kill a person but might endanger others. It's a loose-loose situation.

Evolution is not a force, it's only the end result of selection. As for your "pull," it's a well known fact that reactions that release energy are highly favored, meaning they happen spontaneously when certain requirements are met, and that systems as a whole tend to increase in entropy. Physicists don't know the exact reason for this, but it's and observed fact and the universe might not even exist as it is if it weren't true.
