Shielding and Side stepping usually does the trick. Just be ready for your opponent to get more aggressive as you close the gap.

This time around, Roy isn't a clone of Marth anymore. Roy is probably B tier due to his overall moveset. His punish game is great, but his Fair is laggy as hell.

Seth in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. The guy could solo maps all by himself with ease.
The USAS-12 with Frag Rounds Pre Patch in BF3 could tear entire squads apart in pretty much any engagement.

I can play Marth, Fox, and Pikachu efficiently.
I have trouble against really anybody who uses projectiles, but I can space pretty well with Marth.
Favorite Level? Melee Final Destination.
Marth's Fair is amazing.
Tips for Noobs?
Utilize Marth's Tipping ability to rack up damage quickly.
Yeah with Marth though you really have to get used to his edge guarding and saving yourself because his spiking moves are pretty impressive!
Marth has good Edge Guarding tools along with his great Air game. Marth is really just fun to play as.
I'm still learning how to play Hindi far so good 
Keep up the progress then.
