So? Don't become a radical. That's a fucking facile sentiment and you know it. How is that a bad thing? Considering they were able to narrow down the entire country to a list small enough that one in two are connected to terrorism, that's actually an amazing feat. I don't think you understand how the watchlist works. It's not a case of catching things thrown into a net, it's a case of the government actively placing non-threatening individuals on a watchlist.Free speech in the UK is being limited because of liberals who are over-sympathetic towards Muslims, not because of security disputes. Except the measures instituted also threaten people who criticise the government, from neo-Nazis to just socialists. Not just people who criticise Islam.

The government has used porn in order to discredit radicals in the past, and almost half of the people of U.S.'s watchlist aren't connected to any terror group. Now, combine that with the suppression of free speech here in the U.K. . .
If you trust the government, you really are foolish. I do agree, however, that the tech companies have over-reacted to the whole affair.

Except it doesn't make standards higher. It makes schools that are ahead subjected to a decrease standard in order t be on equal footing with other schools
What logic did you use to draw the conclusion that a minimum requirement will bring standards down.

But why can't we celebrate this when people celebrated Obama winning president?
That's playground logic. I don't give a fuck if people celebrated Obama's presidency on the basis of his race, it isn't an excuse to continue the trend.

Most likely, she supports CommonCrap which is total opposite of improving education
Common Core is fine so long as the localities can perform the implementation themselves. Although, I certainly think the education system as a whole needs to be overhauled, having minimum requirements isn't a step in the wrong direction.
Do you mean minimum standards (for scores), or minimum requirements for subject material? Minimum standards promote mediocrity.
Requirements for subject material.

That's contradictory since the purpose is to have all schools follow the same path
No. That's not contradictory. Like, in the slightest. Using the same road doesn't necessitate driving the same car.

So many little things make me boil with rage it's unbelievable.
Just this morning I felt myself getting legitimately angry at one of my best friends. I felt myself having to exercise restraint.
Why?
Can't really remember. He was just saying a bunch of stupid shit and it was making me really mad.

What the fuck happened to Article I, Section 2?
Ms. Blair campaigned on a pledge to work to reduce certain taxes on businesses, and she also holds antiabortion and pro-gun positions. She defeated Democrat Layne Diehl, a 44-year-old Martinsburg attorney, whose top priorities included improving secondary education and solving the state’s drug epidemic. So, she's got one good thing, one retarded thing and one irrelevant thing? Whereas the Democrat was two-for-two?
Yeah, it's really not a big deal.
Improving secondary education and tackling drug abuse is... bad? w0t
By two-for-two I mean her policies were both good.

Smiggles: Spoiler One of the few people I actually feel I owe something to, considering her support during my moments of need. Mr P: Spoiler Interesting, understanding and decent to talk to. A man of immense intellect and considerable foresight; if he were my personal planner I never would've crashed a utility vehicle, fucked up a guy's greenhouse or done anything stupid. Sandtrap: Spoiler A quasi-Buddhist, overly-emotional manchild. But goddamn he's fucking genuine, and that's probably one of the most admirable qualities you can find in a person. I don't care what it is he's saying, I will read what he writes just for how he says it, and to get a refreshing dose of reality. Maybe I find his attitudes occasionally frustrating because they're so alien, but nonetheless I find him respectable. Door: Spoiler My nigger, really. That's all I can be bothered to do.

Motherfucker took on a fascist government, and won.
Riddick took on the necromonger empire and won.
Everybody's been saying Riddick, though. It's becoming mainstream.. I don't do mainstream.

I don't care which party the president belongs to.
It only matters that they take a hardline on Iran, support Israel and are willing to properly fight ISIS.
I figured you would have a lot more to say about this topic.
Foreign policy tends to be the most controversial thing about a president's tenure. I sort of just scoot to the sidelines. I'm generally quite interventionist, though.

Skilled and educational immigration is pretty much always immensely beneficial.
...but not necessary
I never said it was. I'm generally not a fan of low-skilled immigration, simply because of infrastructural concerns and taxation. Very few forms of immigration, in our situation, ought to be unregulated. The rest, however, should be subject to fairly rigorous controls. As for Icy, I actually think he's something of a hawk on immigration. I'm definitely more dovish than him.
