To be honest, man, of the four sources you posted, none of them are reliable.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Opposition to nuclear power is the biggest failure of the Left.

Yup.

Stupid cunts should keep a better eye on their customers if they want to make a profit. It isn't my fault I can outsmart them.
You always act like this in Serious, so I honestly can't tell if this is a joke. :/
It isn't.

Most other people will pay. I can get away with not paying. Procedures aren't in place to stop me from not paying most of the time.

So, fuck it, when I don't feel like spending money I just walk out.

I'm better than he is.
You can't be better than the best.
You're only best by my rules. You can't beat the rule-maker.

You can't beat God.

On a serious note, though, Putin is essentially Saddam Hussein on steroids. The man is a sociopathic narcissist - meant literally.

We should've strangled him at birth, but we should probably settle for assassination in the present.

Shit like this pushes me away from the Republicans.

If only you could have a moderate combination of Republicans and Democrats. . .

I've been embarrassed to be associated with republicans for many years now, I just disagree with too much democratic policy and attitude to register as one.

OT: Nuclear, motherfuckers

I feel the same way about the Conservatives >.>

This is literally fantastic.

If the Chinese follow through, anyway. Great find.

11088
You're confusing the analogy. The school would find it more profitable to make the effort to have higher grades. A school expelling sub-par students only happens in the private sector and isn't allowed in the public sector.

Plus it'd be a PR disaster for a state school to do that.

11089
a school is essentially a business.
LOL

Meta credibility -1
Because schools don't have a clientele they want to keep happy?

Sure thing, bud.

It's fucking endemic.

11091
Fundamentally, you have to realise a school is essentially a business.

They'll regulate what they can in order to preserve their image, ethical or not.

Not really related, but what is "Sociology"? I keep meeting people at parties who are doing this, and I just get the feeling it isn't one of those super serious degrees.
Isn't that what Meta has?
No.

I'll be doing Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED
As little as the constitution matters to me, I do think it should be noted that, in US law, this is really the most powerful argument against extreme regulation. There are lots of things that could infringe without totally banning.

That is, if the constitution matters to you.
I'd just like to point out that the phrase "a well regulated militia" is very prominent within the Second Amendment.

Not only that, a population that can defend itself is the greatest deterrent to oppression through policy
And it's quite clear that isn't the case, as the government would've removed people's access to weaponry long, long ago. It should also strike you as odd that the Republicans of all people are the ones who supposedly support this defence against tyranny.

Serious / Re: Exactly why is it undesirable?
« on: November 11, 2014, 01:19:27 PM »
What's so awful about an unarmed populace?

Both sides blow this debate way out of proportion. Gun crime has been steadily decreasing, and the differences between Europe and America are largely cultural as opposed to political. Nothing is wrong with either side.

In saying that, people who propose to outlaw things like assault weapons and rifles really don't know what they're talking about.

I'm not usually one to take this shitty position, but if this was anyone other than Niki Minaj, you would be all for it.
Depends on who it was.

If it was somebody singing about the dangers of authoritarianism and the loss of life in World War Two, there's some funny feeling inside me that says "You know what, I don't think I'd find that as repugnant as four rappers going on about fucking fat chicks".

It's obviously a sociopolitical commentary on the disturbing relationship between Nazism, the Church and anti-semitism, and how that relates to fat-hate in today's disgusting world.

Triggered.
