Watch out for that sneaky respitory infection!

Nothing much. Take things slow. Finish stories. Shake the rust off my drawing hand.
don't worry, I've had heartburn all my life, and the acid is pretty much nothing after years of my throat adjusting to it if I throw up now. no cuts or burns will ever happen in my throat unless I'm done in by a knife.

Good to hear, keep fighting the good fight friend. In the end you'll come out on top of it all if you keep your motivations closest to your heart. Sandtrap, if you follow your ambitions, and chase them to the end, friends and like minded people will follow.

quick flick of the wrist, across my neck with a knife if I REALLY had no other option, then I'd half-write an enemy's name with my blood so people suspect a murder.

Wait..... is this made by the same company that did the Burger King games? It looks like the same amount of graphical effort was put into it.
hey man, that burger king kart racer was surprisingly fun, don't hate.

It's better than what we have.
What you guys need isn't a more convoluted method, what you need is to start increasing the difficulty and raise expectations. artificial difficulty just causes more problems.
What the fuck do you think Common Core is?
it isn't bloody difficult, just convoluted. you aren't challenging a mind when you resort to simple things like number lines. you're fucking around with your thumb up your ass while writing out the same answer you would've gotten ages ago rather than actually doing new math.

The Lost Levels, or Sonic 06 that's the way the american education board needs to think.
What the frack are you even trying to say
I'm saying that common core is the equivalent to an artificial difficulty curve for a video game, you know, those instant kill bosses that make you rage n shit? that isn't difficult, it's just a convoluted method to add what looks like more complexity.

instead you should look at a genuinely tough problem, and get people talking on how to get through that problem. get the child to ask questions and actually think, so they learn more in a shorter period, rather than just make them use a long, boring method that just fills out time. that's how we're taught in Canada.

is that a better explanation?

Wait wait wait

You're complaining about American standards dropping, which they aren't, when you went to school in Canada, which had higher standards to begin with?
So what you're saying is that your standards AREN'T that high to begin with, and yet you're allowing this garbage in your education system? what the frack dude, you americans must REALLY be stupid then if common core is an improvement.
No. What we're saying is that Canadian education standards have exceeded the US's for quite some time. Saying that the US's implementation of CC is lowering standards is false. Just because the standards in Canada are higher than the US doesn't mean ours are getting worse.
fine, but seriously, US needs to pick up the pace, and common core isn't the answer you need.

LOL I love how just left the thread never to be seen again.

Rode off on his moose into the cloudy horizon. A bottle of maple syrup and and the one thing he knew to be true and would never turn against him: Canada. Because you can defeat him in an Internet argument, you can prove him wrong, but what are you really without Canada? Can you ice skate on a pool in the middle of summer? Drink the finest maple syrup in the world? See the sun only once, twice if you're unlucky, in your entire life? What are you really when you can't feel the snow coming down all around you, the frozen back of your moose riding into your crotch, and the blistering cold wind whispering into your ear Canada, O Canada. Eh?
you should be a writer bro, that's actually pretty good.

Well, mechanical inclination isn't something your average high schooler is gonna pick up in class unless he attends a vocational school.
I learned how building a car happened in auto shop, and I was a fine worker in the Honda factory I worked in, without a fucking apprenticeship.

Common core is making children dumber.
And yet Kentucky showed an increase in high school graduation from 80pc to 86pc over the course of three years.

Y'know, for people willing to (rightly) attack the one-size-fits-all approach, you really are all too willing to use a one-size-fits-all criticism.
the reason graduation is going up is because of these lowered standards, built by idiots for idiots, so that smart people who WANT to learn and succeed can be held back. you don't seem to understand the concept so let me spell it out for you.

Common core lowers standards and allows dumber people to pass on instead of fracking learning the shit they need to learn for the real world. those 6% that are now passing are passing because of lowered standards, and allowing dumbasses who don't know the material to just go on through.
>no sources

:^) ebin post son
The fact that BMW has to create specialized degrees so that people can fracking ASSEMBLE CARS is proof enough.
>a car company training its employees is proof common core is terrible

GIVE THIS MAN A MEDAL
it's proof that standards are being lowered, you dense cunt.

Which standards and measurements are lowered under Common Core?
In common core it takes you until grade 5 to learn about brackets and basic double/triple digit division. when I was in elementary we were learning about basic double digit division in grade 3, and we were learning basic algebra in grades 5-7. this is proof that the standards are lowered, and the retarded number lines that we discarded in kindergarten are being used beyond grade 3 for fuck's sake!
