This came out today, is anyone playing?

I'm not too far in but it's pretty good so far. Like a mix between Fallout: New Vegas and Mass Effect.

I'm really enjoying being in the timeline where Fallout 76 exists. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Turns out the unlimited scrap box you get with the subscription actually deletes your scrap when you put stuff in.

I feel like its gonna be a hit or miss.

Spoiler
I hate that the're bringing back palps. i just wanna know how they're gonna bring him back without undoing the original saga.(if they at least make any attempt at that).  Also, they killed off snoke waaaay to soon.

Spoiler
To be fair, Palpatine having a backup plan in case he was killed or betrayed by Vader feels like a VERY Palpatine thing to do.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-50174402

this has been a wild ride

polls suggest that if a GE is held after the brexit deadline and brexit hasn't happened tories will lose a big chunk of their support to brexit party, which might cost them this election. will be interesting either way.

MPs have voted in favour of the Letwin amendment requiring Boris to ask for another Brexit extenstion to get legislation approved by parliament before his deal can be implemented.

DUP have already confirmed they will be voting against the new deal. If Boris wants to win he needs to win over the Tory rebels and a few Labour MPs.

Key Labour MPs are now saying the party will back a second referendum on Johnson's deal (if he actually gets one). Saturday should be interesting.

Also certain Tories are now saying a small extension may be necessary. So much for Boris' "do or die" comments.

So after the scene where Jesse burns down the welding place, how does he meet up with Walt in the hotel? Why is he staying in a hotel in the first place? Wouldn't he be reported to the police? Isn't Walt supposed to be dead? It really feels like they cut out an important scene here.

The Flood / Spoiler El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
« on: October 11, 2019, 09:34:32 AM »
The Breaking Bad movie came out today and I just watched it. Pretty good, a bit slow and the ending was fairly predictable (not necessarily in a bad way however) but overall decent.  Not sure if I'd give it a rewatch but I would recommend it to any fan of the show. I'd probably give it a 7.5/10 or 8/10.

Anyone else watch it?

Either way it seems like this new agreement will require an extension beyond October 31st anyway.

Doesn't mean all that much if:
a) Parliament doesn't vote for it (given Boris is at a disadvantage of 45 seats, he might find this quite challenging)
b) The EU doesn't agree to the new deal

The easiest way out (and one that the opposition have expressed interest in) is if Boris would put his deal to a vote and offer a second referendum with it. But of course, that would be TOO easy so we'll most likely be subjected to another few months of Tory dickwaving.

What did those 3 miserable alcoholics from Milwaukee that pretend to be VCR repairmen think of the movie?
Mike and Jay both liked the later parts of the film but felt it was a bit weak overall and borrowed too heavily from other films. I think Mike liked it more than Jay.

Saw it the other day and it was fucking dull. Pretentious as hell and with surface level commentary. Baby's first "deep movie". Legit felt like it had been written by a 12 year old.

5/10 would not see again.

I will pay triple the price of Destiny 3 if it means there will be no PvP whatsoever.

I'd buy literaly everything from Eververse to delete the crucible from both 1 and 2 immediately.
This game legitamatey takes everything Halo 4 did wrong, tripples down on it and then adds more.
Really the game would be fine with just PVE modes. No Crucible, no Gambit. Just Story, Strikes, Raids, Dungeons and Arenas.

also bring back prison of elders

Shadowkeep is very good so far. I feel Forsaken had the overall better campaign (although Shadowkeep's "final" mission is really cool) but the implications of Shadowkeep are a lot more interesting. Wish it didn't end so abruptly if that was really the ending but there looks to be a tonne of content to do aside from the campaign too. The game feels a lot more like TTK-era D1 (in a good way), I just hope the new raid is good too.

Just beat the red war and got absolutely nothing from it. So what the fuck am I supposed to do?
Have you gone around speaking to Zavala, Ikora, etc? I think one of them would give you an exotic, but New Light may have changed that.
