I've been looking to watch Ragnarok. I'm a big fan of Taika Waititi's other films.

Just saw it, enjoyed it a lot. One of the best Marvel films I've seen. Structure was a bit off, like how you'd get a scene with Iron Man and then not see him again for another hour but on the whole I think they juggled the characters a lot better than I was expecting. Humour was much better than usual; the majority of the jokes landed well.
Spoiler It's pretty obvious that those who died at the end are coming back, but I don't think that affected the impact of the ending at all. It's still a pretty depressing note to end on, especially from the perspective of the general audience. The theatre I was in was fairly packed and the atmosphere once the credits started rolling felt very weird. A little kid sitting in the row in front of me started crying. I guess Part 2 will be one final hurrah for the original Avengers before Tony or Cap dies. 1129

The Flood / Re: Avengers Infinity War HYPE THREAD« on: April 27, 2018, 10:10:41 AM »The bit where Thanos threatens to kill half the universe and Spider-Man retorts "Including the kikes?" took me a bit off guard tbh.I think Marvel took a big risk letting Raimi write all of Spider-Man's lines but it turned out for the better IMO. 1135

The bit where Spiderman calls Thanos a "giant purple n*****" was a bit much for a kids film.

Serious / Re: Should pedophiles be chemically castrated by law?« on: April 26, 2018, 08:17:58 AM »OH NO NO NO πππππππI don't know why I'm responding to this seriously. Hentai does nothing for me nor am I a pedo. This is the same shitty logic that gets violent videogames banned. It doesn't matter how depraved and degenerate loli is because at the end of the day it's still lines on a piece of paper and thus incapable of independent thought let alone suffering. It could be as realistic and degenerate as humanly possible and it should still be legal because it was fabricated and thus nobody was abused in the process."I-I don't watch cp I just d-draw anime girls"ππππππNot an argument. You're a pedophile fucking LOL you are literally a living memeGoing after someone for anime girls that are drawn with the wrong body type is objectively thought crime.Anyone claiming βthought crimesβ is a pedophile.Theres people that dont act on those urges at all. Do you think someone is born gay or they become it on their own volition? 1137

Gaming / Re: Destiny 2: Warmind« on: April 24, 2018, 01:00:03 PM »
Story will focus on Rasputin, who has awoken, and will take place on the polar ice caps of Mars
New patrol zone with public event Ana Bray from the Grimoire is an NPC Hive Escalation Protocol takes place on the patrol zone, like a public event, but can be triggered by a player at any time, likewise other players can join in as they please. Action takes place in 7 waves, with a boss at the end of each wave. So a glorified public event Emote wheel is now a thing New Valor rank attached to Crucible quickplay, and Glory rank attached to competitive Crucible rewards are presented to your right off the bat with details on how to obtain them Private matches are back And some changes to weapons They didn't show any campaign or the raid lair sounds pretty meh overall 1139
Gaming / Destiny 2: Warmind« on: April 24, 2018, 12:04:06 PM »
So this is a thing coming out next month. Not much is known except it'll be set on Mars with Ice Hive and there'll be a new mode called Hive Escalation Protocol. Also from now on all Crucible maps will be available to all players in matchmaking (but the DLC needs to be purchased to use them in custom games) which is neat except Crucible is trash so it won't matter to me anyway.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46735 There's a stream on now revealing more about the expansion. Hopefully it's less like Curse of Osiris and The Dark Below and more like House of Wolves. Destiny's content model has been shit ever since Destiny 1 and hasn't changed even with Destiny 2 so I'm not getting my hopes up. I fell for the Season Pass meme like some kind of IDIOT because I liked Destiny 2 when it first came out so I have no choice but to play this and get my money's worth (or not). 1140
