As stated before by others here, modding to fix bugs is kind of stupid, the devs should fix those. If a game is unplayable without the use of mods I don't think it's worth playing.
On the other hand, modding to add content/update the graphics seems perfectly fine to me. It's not like you are changing the art in an irreversible way or taking away from the appreciation you have of it. You're simply adding a twist to it, similar to song covers.

Problem is, centipedes don't have 100 legs nor even pairs of legs. The same goes for millipedes, they have around 700-800 IIRC.
I know that, but when they named the centipede I don't think they were counting very closely. The name literally mean "100-footed" in Latin.

Moths aren't bad at all, it's click beetles that I have to worry about. These things will wake me up in the middle of the night by flipping on my nightstand. They snap a spine on their thorax into a special notch.
