Good, that should be illegal, just like driving that can get you killed.

Hallo hallo, someone say bass? What kind of questions ya got? Budget? How hard will I judge you if you use a pick? I hate picks so much. I'll have to use one soon because I might be playing in a metal band (I think) where one of the songs is almost impossible to play without one.
They do have their place... and I admit that my fingers get very tired after a few fast tempo punk songs, but I don't think I've encountered that problem yet. What song?
One that the lead guitars/singer wrote. As a temporary name it's called "Spiders Breach the North Wall".

but everyone i know kept telling me that the guitar is a better choice. God is that ever wrong. Guitar players are a dime a dozen from what I've seen. I've been playing for a few years now and I've had the same bass since (which I got from my sister). Mine is a Slammer. I would say start with something good but kind of cheap and later upgrade if you want.

I generally get about £100 at Christmas, then I can hopefully et another 2-300 from my birthday (march) by not getting anything else and not having any celebration.
I have about £80 in my bank right now so that would be enough for MCC, Battlefield 4 and an X1.

I'm finishing school before getting a job (IE when I'm 18, as I'm 16 now)
That sounds like a good, more study time that way. It can be a hassle juggling work and school sometimes.
It's not as much that, more because I'm lazy and can't bear the prospect of having to go immediately from school or have a one day weekend.
If you work somewhere you like and the people are nice it's not bad. I don't even have a day off on weekends sometimes, but I don't really care. The money is nice to have
The only places that do jobs for people my age are cages and restaurants and I don't like going to them for a meal, let alone speeding hours there.
Yeah, I try to stay away from those. I work retail in the meat department of a grocery store here.
