I like the occasional anime, but this forum's obsession is... simply weird. I draw the line at Dragon Ball and Naruto.
I can't even elaborate on it, really... I mean, I love Metal Gear, more so than these people like anime, but it's not weird, y'know? So what is it about anime that makes it less, uhm, "cool" than other things?
It's probably the masculinity associated with MG and also the fact that anime seems to have all female characters, or at least, main characters.

I enjoy them the same way I enjoy any other show, really. There's really good action packed ones like Gurren Lagann and Garo.
I noticed that JoJo has a very similar art style of DBZ, which intrigued me. But I haven't looked into Gurren Lagann or Garo, unfortunately.
Garo's fukn sik bro. The theme song alone is hype.
Shingeki no Bahamut is by the same team as Garo. Garo's second OP is the shit.

As for the topic, I haven't watch SOA. It doesn't appeal to me really, but AoT is pretty awesome.
If you like SAO, try Aldnoah.Zero. It has similar themes and the music is done by the same group.

I think the sad part is, half of the actual 'Weeabos' in the world aren't even Japanese. More so from the UK or the US. Rather, anywhere that's not Japan itself.

Hmm. One one hand, both have brilliant music and great animation. I prefer the fight animation in SAO, whereas AoT's soundtrack is slightly better. AoT has the better plot, or, has a better plot for longer than SAO anyway. 10 episodes to 2. Storywise, from what I know about both, SAO starts off contrived, but AoT fools you for a little while before dropping the bomb that it's just your average shounen and has been hiding behind an edge. Overall, for me, Attack on Titan holds more objective good qualities. Spoiler I did enjoy SAO more in the first viewing though.

He's right though, was it in 2012 that Bungie stopped everything to do with Halo? From there on it was Destiny based. 2-3 years on a Destiny site before this site was made to split off from it. You guys are repeating the point so much it's getting to the point that I'm gonna have to post the "oh my fucking god" video and write BTFO in 99 size text and maybe use Times New Roman for the font, though I'm not too fond of it and might choose Arial and add the shadow effect, maybe use blue for some added depth.
