It was alright. On the scale for current DC movies, I'd rate it second below Wonder Woman. It's slightly better than the others, which isn't really saying all that much. Story was pretty cookie-cutter as it gets, the villain was fairly forgettable, and I was incredibly distracted by the CGI and obvious green screen. Cyborg himself looked terrible and it really took me out of the experience when he was in full-view without the hoodie. I liked Batfleck in BvS, but here he just looked absolutely bored. Ezra Miller was a fairly bad Flash in my opinion, and I was kind of annoyed that his scenes basically looked like Quicksilver's (X-Men version) scenes but with seizure-inducing lightning bolts exploding everywhere.
I will say though it was refreshing to see Superman have emotions extending beyond "I'm a brooding individual that's on the verge of cutting myself" and I noticed that there was actually a color palette besides the depressing grey/blue/black hues. That really brought a smile to my face.

Just finished watching the campaign as well and I'm legit surprised at how they handled it with everyone. I was expecting something far more cheesy or just not handled with the care it was. I'm really REALLY surprised they had you walking through a POW camp in the end and photos got taken and popped up over German war crimes. Really drove the message home I thought.
Yeah, glad they handled it maturely and respectfully. I expected some sort of POW event after watching the trailer with the Jewish soldiers but thought it'd be an extremely edgy "LOOK AT THIS IT'S SO DARK AND SHOCKING."

Finished the campaign last night, though I'm not sure if I'll touch MP that much. At least the guns feel like they pack a punch, and I'm kind of amused that they seem to have taken some inspiration from BF1. If your rifle has a bayonet, you can charge with your character doing the heavy breathing-then-HYYYYAAAAAUUUGH scream thing.
But yeah, story was pretty solid and didn't feel TOO ridiculous...well, except for the train level.

At least it was better than last episode.
What exactly is so dangerous about the army of the undead? A hand full of exhausted men managed to hold off thousands of them so an army of thousands should be able to hold off the entire White Walker army without a problem. They don't even have to worry about their comrades turning into wights since they have to be touched by a White Walker in order to join their army.
I wouldn't be surprised if they retcon that by showing that WW's just have to be present or nearby to raise wights.
A White Walker has to touch another living human in order to turn them into another WW. They simply need to be near the dead to raise them. Though my current headcanon for why he needed to touch Viserion to turn him into a wight is because dragons, since they have a strong relationship with magic, required a more personal touch to be turned. NK probably had to use a lot of magic to raise him. EDIT: Apparently the season 8 leaks are Fake News. I'm heading to work, so I'll try to see if I can find links on my breaks.

>tfw D&D ruined my man davos by making him a sudden jon fanboy
all i have left is bronn, jaime, and the hound
I hope the show eventually funnels the coolguys into a proper anti-zombie baller squad super teamup.
-Jon -Tormund -Jaime -Bronn -Gendry (Dual wielding hammers with bull helm) -Brienne (Of course she's fucking there) -Thoros and Beric doubleteam
All I need fam.
Spoiler Don't be surprised if half that list ends up being the apparent 12 companions Jon takes North with him

I don't think it was necessarily the Tyrells themselves that were a great military strength. Mace rode the coattails of Randyll Tarly's victories, and the Tyrells pretty much just have food and gold to their name. The real power is with Tarly (and, in the books at least, House Hightower). Tarly is known for being a great commander, not containing an essential portion of the Tyrell army, which in the books is by far the largest army in the realm. Logically speaking the liege lord would make up the largest portion of the kingdom's army or else they probably wouldn't be the liege lord. To believe that the army is effectively useless without Randyll is a pretty big leap but I might be willing to look past it if they had bothered to give this as an explanation. As it is, this is some of the most Dabid-tier writing the show has ever done imo.
True, so unless they say that Olenna left some forces with Dany while keeping a sort of Honor Guard for herself, and Highgarden's defenses just being common levies with very few experienced fighters then they pretty much just brushed the Tyrells away with a whimper, which is pretty disappointing.

The more I think about how Olenna Tyrell and her army got dealt with in such a quick and easy way, the dumber this whole show seems to me. "Fighting never was our forte". So how were they ever valued as a military ally in the previous seasons if they could just be destroyed using zero effort. Despite the fact that Jaime had to siege one of the major castles in the show, he still manages to get it done immediately and presumably without any loss to his army. It seems like the sizes of everyone's armies are being left intentionally vague and undefined so that stuff like this can keep happening regardless of logic. Cersei is just going to keep implausibly gaining the upper hand to increase the "drama", until Daenerys inevitably wins in the end despite all odds.
I don't think it was necessarily the Tyrells themselves that were a great military strength. Mace rode the coattails of Randyll Tarly's victories, and the Tyrells pretty much just have food and gold to their name. The real power is with Tarly (and, in the books at least, House Hightower), though I think he was wayyy too eager to switch sides. I know in the books he may be getting pissed off from Mace snubbing him and stealing the glory for his battles, so the books have at least that going for them. Show Tarly..he just kind of agrees to side with the Lannisters.

i like the part where tom hardy is in a plane, really echoed nolan's greatest work
I swear he cast Tom Hardy in that role just to give him an aviator jacket and talk in a muffled voice.

Decent episode so far, though I wonder if they're going to try really hard to make Euron more despised than Ramsay like the actor said he would be.

I think it'd be great if Sansa just fucking executed Littlefinger if he tries to manipulate/seduce her again. Jon handed her the reigns, and she seemed to be relieved that he at least trusted her abilities to rule.

I actually almost vomited during the greyscale surgeon scene, which grossly transitioned into that stew. So unsettling lol.
So far a decent episode, the only thing I rolled my eyes at was the Grey Worm/Missendei thing.

Was that mother fuckin' Fenrir?
And yeah, it looks like Thor's pretty much at full power. He'll have to be if they're fighting Sutur. Movie looks pretty dope.

About time. District 9 was probably his best movie (Elysium was fine, Chappie was unwatchable. Haven't seen his Oats Studios project yet).
Damn shame he got shafted on Alien 5.

Man of Steel was alright.
Honestly, it and Wonder Woman are probably the only good DCU movies right now. I liked Apollo 18, it was a decent horror flick. Click was also good, though the ending left a kind of sour taste in my mouth back then.

That fucking ending, though. The fucking balls on that director, putting that in a mainstream film. The movie sucks, but I like it just for that.
I think Stephen King said he wished he made that ending. It was so fucked up. I kind of want to sit down and watch it again now.

This whole incident was just bad for both parties. The cop was extremely jumpy and trigger happy. Castille should have told them where his gun was located (I know you don't have to, but that's just my two cents) and not make sudden movements.
It's still a travesty that the cop gets off scot-free. He should never wear a badge again.

I've been incredibly reserved on WW since DC's live-action track record has been....complete dogshit. However, this movie does look interesting even though it just looks like Captain America: The First Avenger: Feminism Edition. Think I'll just play it safe and use my free movie ticket reward so that, if letdown by the movie, I won't feel completely bad.

Mr Trump responded by challenging Mr Khan to an IQ test, and said he was offended by Mr Khan, adding: "He doesn't know me, never met me... I will remember those statements."
What an idiot
The Prez sounds just like Deci.

The North really doesn't have the time or manpower to deal with Littlefinger's bullshit.
But they might have an Arya.
Well she did borrow CIA's magical jetpack that can get her from Bravos to The Twins in a day.
