This might seem action-movieish of a reaction, but I probably would've gunned down every last one of those fuckers if I could. 2118

Article, news video and raw body cam video here.
Quote FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) -- Flagstaff Police Officer Tyler Stewart lost his life in the line of duty last month. He was killed while investigating a domestic violence incident. Main reason why I'm posting this is because some people like to demonize all cops as serial killers, without realizing this is the kind of shit they have to deal with. Day after day, week after week, every month of every year. You know why cops usually act with suspicion or are constantly on their guard? One moment of weakness and they could be dead, just like what happened to this poor officer (he was on the force for less than a fucking year.) Sad thing is, I don't think he was even the target. I believe that Smith was looking to go shoot down his girlfriend before taking his own life. However he got cornered by a cop and ended up taking Stewart's life before his own. I generally treat cops with respect in the very few times I've interacted with them. Treat them with respect and cooperate, and things should be fine. But if they are being those cops you see people wail about on social media, then break out the camera and record everything without baiting the cop. EDIT: If you watch the raw cam video, you can skip to about 7 minutes if you want to see what happened. 2120

Serious / Re: People (brought back to life) who claim to experience "sensation" after dying« on: January 18, 2015, 04:09:06 PM »Colton Burpo was his name.Well there was a book, "Heaven is for Real" (not to be confused with the movie God's Not Dead" IIRC there was apparently something about the kid not even having been unconscious during the ordeal. Basically, the dad pulled it out of his ass. Also, a kid recently came out and said his claims of going to heaven following a car accident (the claims were then published and made his family a lot of money) and said he made up his claims just for attention. Was that that one heaven something movie that came out last year or something? Oh, that one was fake too? I was talking about the one with the kid named Malarkey. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/style-blog/wp/2015/01/15/boy-who-came-back-from-heaven-going-back-to-publisher/ 2126
Serious / Re: People (brought back to life) who claim to experience "sensation" after dying« on: January 18, 2015, 03:25:57 PM »
I think it may be based on what you were taught growing up. In private school, we read a book called The Message where the author describes events following a snowmobile accident that even the most religious in our class called bullshit on.
Basically the guy claimed he went to heaven whenever he was knocked back into his coma and saw all his friends and family. He then saw Jesus, Moses, Benny Frank, and a couple other Founding Fathers who all told him that the United States was going to be the New Jerusalem soon and he was supposed to send the Message to God's faithful. It just reeked of religious upbringing and egotistical self-righteousness. Also, a kid recently came out and said his claims of going to heaven following a car accident (the claims were then published and made his family a lot of money) and said he made up his claims just for attention. 2127
