That's the name of my next project. It stars Liam Neeson as a sullen, war-torn grump with a five-o'-clock shadow who can make the cheesiest of one-liners sound badass. In this movie, Lucifer leads an army of Fallen Angels to try and take over the Earth after God forsake Mankind once again for their insatiable lust for power and war. Armed with only a M16A4 and a monotonous, but badass, Irish accent, he goes to war with the Fallen Angels to save Mankind and protect their one true savior, a random boy who is only aware of his Messiah-ness when the plot deems it acceptable.

So when I went to turn on my 3DS today to get $100 off the new 3DS XL, the Gamestop manager told me about Nintendo ' s brilliant policy: You HAVE to turn in your 3DS charger with your turn on, and Nintendo won't be shipping chargers with the new 3DS. You have to buy a brand new one, and if you use any third party chargers, the warranty is immediately void.
Great job Nintendo.

A Chapel Hill, North Carolina, man was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of three Muslim college students after an argument about parking, violence that police said they’re investigating as a possible hate crime.
Authorities said a long-running dispute in a condominium complex foreshadowed the murders. The father of two of the slain said their Islamic beliefs were the motivation for the killings, the News & Observer of Raleigh reported.
Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, was arrested in the shootings of Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, who was his wife of less than two months, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, according to police. Barakat was a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Dentistry. The sisters were students at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) away.
Police found the victims dead in their condominium unit after responding to a report of gunshots at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.
“Our preliminary investigation indicates that the crime was motivated by an ongoing neighbor dispute over parking,” police spokesman Joshua Mecimore said in a statement.
“We understand the concerns about the possibility that this was hate-motivated and we will exhaust every lead to determine if that is the case,” he said.
Crimes motivated by bias or ethnic intimidation can merit harsher punishments, under North Carolina law. Full article hereApparently he already confronted the neighbors a few times before. Still, if the shooter really is the Craig Hicks from the Facebook page spouting off hatred of organized religion then I'm going to assume he's a militant Atheist. Three young lives lost, just like-fucking-that. :/

As a way to "teach him about stranger danger"The boy’s aunt, Denise Kroutil, 38, asked her coworker, 23-year-old Nathan Wynn Firoved, to stage the kidnapping, telling him, “our [child] is too nice, he’s too open, he’s too polite,” Lt. Andy Binder of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office told NBC News.
The boy’s mother, Elizabeth Hupp, 25, and grandmother, Rose Brewer, 58, went along with the plan. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office / NBC News After getting off the school bus Monday, the boy was allegedly kidnapped by Firoved, who showed the sobbing boy a gun and told him he would never “see his mommy again” and that he would be “nailed to the wall of a shed,” police said in a statement.
Firoved drove the boy around with his hands and feet bound with plastic bags and his vision obscured with a jacket. nbcnews.com The child was blindfolded and taken to his home, where he was brought to the basement. His aunt allegedly removed his pants and told him he could be sold into “sex slavery,” authorities said. Seriously, I get that it's Missouri but how absolutely FUCKED UP do you have to be to pull this on your own goddamn child?! Hopefully the family never gets to see him again, and I hope he gets some mental help after this.

(Yes I know the website is called liberalamerica, but this is one of two locations I can find this kind of story right now. It does, however, link to the bill on Cruz's own website: http://www.liberalamerica.org/2015/01/26/ted-cruz-proposes-bill-to-strip-5th-and-6th-amendment-out-of-us-constitution/Cruz has proposed a new bill, the Expatriate Terrorist Act (Senate Bill 247), which strips away the rights of any American citizen who runs off to join or in support of any terrorist organization. It would immediately strip the citizenship of anyone in support of an organization that the United States deems a “terrorist organization.”
There is a problem here, however…
This is in violation of the US Constitution, which Cruz has often referred to himself as a fan and follower of. His bill, which was originally written by the ineffable jingoistic idiot Michelle Bachmann (who also happens to be a Dominionist) violates these particular Amendments:
Amendment V:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger;
Amendment VI:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense. Here's the link to the bill http://www.cruz.senate.gov/files/documents/Bills/20150123_Expatriate_Terrorist_Act_of_2015.pdfEven if Ted Cruz believes that this can stop terrorist threats, this bill could be heavily exploited since it appears to be so fucking flawed. Not to mention, even if you do run off to a terrorist organization you're still a United States citizen and still have access to your rights. Though I probably would feel differently if you completely 100% renounced your ties to the United States and declared yourself a foreign citizen. Not totally sure on how I'd feel in those types of situations.

Yes, even gay ones.Oklahoma state representative Todd Russ has filed House Bill 1125, which would require all marriages to have the stamp of approval of a minister, priest, rabbi or other religious official.
"Put it back to what it was supposed to be and was originally, a holy matrimony and a very solemn and spiritual vow." said Rep. Russ.
Rep. Russ admits he came up with the idea after Oklahoma's same-sex marriage ban was ruled unconstitutional last October. Rep. Russ sees it as a way to keep judges and clerks who are opposed to marriage equality from having to issue marriage licenses or officiate at same-sex weddings.
"It doesn't put the county officials into the business of condoning it or approving it or licensing it," explained Rep. Russ.
Under House Bill 1125, judges would no longer have the power to officiate at marriages and court clerks would not issue marriage licenses. The clerks' only responsibility would be to file the licenses that couples received through their officiating clergy member. Of course, clergy can grant licenses according to their own religious beliefs, which again leaves a lot of gay couples on the outside looking in.
Representative Russ, (photo right) however, has a solution for those who aren't religious or aren't able to receive religious approval.
"They don't have a spiritual basis for a marriage and don't want to have a clergy member or a priest or someone involved in the spiritual aspect, then they can file an affidavit of common-law marriage," Rep. Russ told reporters.
So religious people can get married married, and everyone else can claim common law status? I wish someone would ask him how that is not a violation of the establishment clause?
Russ maintains his bill is a way for the State of Oklahoma stick their finger in the eye of the federal government, complaining:
"Where the federal government does not have a right to come in and force its new definitions of what they believe on independent states. Not just Oklahoma, but any state."
By the way, Oklahoma does not recognize "common law" marriages. It's just another way to separate those "not worthy."
Sooo...take the power of handing out Licenses to religious clergies instead of the fucking people chosen to do this shit...and then anyone who isn't "religiously" married just gets a Common-Law Marriage?Fuck you Russ.

Voro 'Cinotai was in the training room inside of his stationed ship, going through the normal Special Operations training routines. He needed to keep himself in top shape in case a mission was to be assigned to him, which could be any moment. His body was glistened with sweat, making his already shiny skin become unbearable to look at in bright lights. It was like looking at some human's bald head while they were standing right under a light and becoming blinded by the sheer power of the light reflection. It's so fucking unnatural.
The simulator suddenly vanished, replaced by the regular metallic interior of the room. Alarm lights were flashing, and the Ship Admiral's voice suddenly boomed over the the communication links: They were being boarded.
Voro grabbed his Energy Sword and activated it in front of his face in a fucking badass way.

Article, news video and raw body cam video here.FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) -- Flagstaff Police Officer Tyler Stewart lost his life in the line of duty last month. He was killed while investigating a domestic violence incident.
The Flagstaff Police Department released video from a body camera that Stewart was wearing during the deadly encounter. It shows how the deadly encounter unfolded.
The actual shooting is not shown, but the moments leading up to it are test, dramatic, and some may find them disturbing so we do want to warn you ahead of time that this is tough to watch.
The video shows a typical response to a domestic violence call, it captures the moments leading up to the deadly confrontation with Robert Smith. It starts in his patrol car on the afternoon of Saturday, December 27, 2014. The officer was looking for a suspect in a domestic violence call.
>>RAW Video: Flagstaff Police Officer Stewart's body camera
He found the man, 28-year-old Robert Smith in a neighborhood off west Clay Avenue in flagstaff. Stewart questioned Smith about what happened between him and his girlfriend. During the conversation Stewart asks for permission to search Smith to make sure he doesn't have any weapons. In a split second, things take a deadly turn. Smith pulls out a .22 caliber handgun and fired on the officer.
Flagstaff Police say the video goes on and you would hear three shots, the camera falling to the ground and then three more shots. Then nine seconds of silence, followed by what investigators say is the sound of Officer Stewart's service weapon cycling, then a seventh and final round is heard.
Officer Stewart was pronounced dead a short time later.
Smith took his own life after killing Officer Stewart. Main reason why I'm posting this is because some people like to demonize all cops as serial killers, without realizing this is the kind of shit they have to deal with. Day after day, week after week, every month of every year. You know why cops usually act with suspicion or are constantly on their guard? One moment of weakness and they could be dead, just like what happened to this poor officer (he was on the force for less than a fucking year.) Sad thing is, I don't think he was even the target. I believe that Smith was looking to go shoot down his girlfriend before taking his own life. However he got cornered by a cop and ended up taking Stewart's life before his own. I generally treat cops with respect in the very few times I've interacted with them. Treat them with respect and cooperate, and things should be fine. But if they are being those cops you see people wail about on social media, then break out the camera and record everything without baiting the cop. EDIT: If you watch the raw cam video, you can skip to about 7 minutes if you want to see what happened.

Republican Presidential hopeful says that ISIS and Founding Father militiamen are pretty much comparable So let me get this fucking straight: Founding Fathers: -Revolted against a monarchy -Was tired of not being represented properly -Was full of agnostics, Christians, and other religious groups -Created a Colonial Congress and planted the seeds for a nation ISIS: -Wants to spread Sharia fundamentalist Islamic law -Is mainly comprised of radical violent Muslims that kill anyone else without a second though. Can anyone else connect the dots? My brain just collapsed from the stupidity.
